Everything was spotless, the house was well furnished and there were a lot of essentials (if you forgot ) like shampoo and after sun lotion…. Really close

This was our first time renting a vrbo as we recently sold our own second home in the florida keys and did vacation rentals for 10 years down there.
Being previous vacation rental owners, we were amazed at and appreciated greatly the level of detail and thought that went into making this rental perfect for the guests.
In addition, the house was immaculate and amazingly renovated. Everything needed was there and the location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere, including the sponge docks, downtown / pinellas ave, etc.
The front porch was great for enjoying morning coffee or a cocktail in the evening.
Everything was so well done, we could have learned a thing or 2 from Lisa and John when we were renting our house!
Highly recommend and would definitely return!

Always an enjoyable stay at the Captains Quarters! Owners are very responsive and keep the house neat and clean with everything needed for a wonderful stay. The location is perfect being within walking distance to the Sponge Docks, Spring Bayou and restaurants/shops on Tarpon Ave. Looking forward to staying again in March.

Everything was perfect. Loved the home especially the added touches, late nights sitting on the porch and proximity to the Sponge Docks. Just left and we're already planning our next visit.

Beautiful house- kind and helpful hosts - had a wonderful time. Could have used a little more cushion seating in living room sofa only big enough for 2 or 3 people - we pulled some chairs from the bed rooms to make it work for our stairs a lovely place😀

The home had everything we could have though of needing. It was so close to downtown Tarpon Springs we walked every time we wanted to go down there.

This is our 2nd stay at this well appointed and spacious home with a big comfortable porch. It has a well stocked kitchen and all the amenities one needs; including items for the beach. The location is perfect; very walkable to the Sponge Docks, Spring Bayou and Tarpon Ave restaurants and shops. The owners take great pride in their place and are very accommodating and responsive. We just love this place and are returning next year!!

Wow! Just wow!! We have rented multiple units from VRBO and this one far exceeded our expectations. The owner’ eye for detail is fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need…they even provide an egg slicer! The wrap around porch was perfect. Some days I ate all my meals out there. Also location, location, location!! A short walk to downtown, the sponge docks, and the Spring Bayou. I would highly recommend.

This home is so nice and had everything you needed upon arrival. Very neat. Very clean. Ample room. Kitchen nicely equipped including tea, coffee, creamer and sugar to get you started. Great porches on 3 sides of home. Owners were great to work with on special requests. Woukd stay here again and again.

The unit is located within close proximity to a historic district. Owners have provided a tasteful, comfortable, affordable accommodation. No need to pack coffee and usual travel necessities. They come with this deal. Excellent master quarters on a second level. Three double bed quarters that are better than average. Owners exhibit pride and good taste in allowing a memorable experience. Owners are accessible and accommodating, best available in Tarpon Springs.

Captain's Quarters is an amazing place. The house is absolutely immaculate, gorgeously decorated, and fastidiously maintained. The furniture and beds are comfy and welcoming. My sister and I were in town for a funeral and it was a soothing place to rest each evening. We were also able to get some steps in by walking to the beautiful bayou and down to the docks. Being walking distance to many great restaurants was a perk. We appreciated the supply of coffees and teas available in the house as well. Every detail was well thought out and we hope to return!

This is a beautifully remodeled historic home with everything needed for a stay in Tarpon Spring. The area is fantastic with places to shop and great restaurants. The host offered suggestions for restaurants which helped a lot since there are so many choices. The host went above and beyond to make our trip special. Thank you so much!

Homey and clean
This home was very welcoming and super clean. Many kitchen amenities so we were able to cook good breakfasts before spending the day exploring and hitting the local beaches. We loved the sponge docks and the short drives to several different beaches. Would certainly stay here again.

The home is updated and very clean. Located within walking distance to town. We could drive to theme parks in two hours. Beaches were within 30 min drive.

Wow - just WOW
The pictures are wonderful but do not do this place justice. Every detail had been considered. The beds and linens are an A+. The decor was beyond charming. The owner - amazingly accessible and accommodating. We needed to get ready for a wedding and everything (full length mirrors, ironing board, steamer, blow dryer, etc.) was there on the ready. Upgraded designer bathrooms and kitchen too! Just can’t say enough good things - what a gem!

Perfect House!
This was our second visit and it was just as wonderful as our first! The house is perfect for a family! Plenty of room and well laid out. The location to sponge docks and restaurants couldn’t be better. If you’re planning a trip to Tarpon Springs, this is your house! The hosts are AMAZING!! Very helpful and easy with which to communicate. Can’t say enough nice things about the house and the hosts!

Amazing house.
The attention to detail that John and Lisa have put into their house is amazing. It was immaculate when we arrived and felt just like home. My teenage kids loved it as well. It looked old just like the pictures. John was a great host and was always available with any questions we might have. We would definitely stay here again.
