The junior suite was clean, spacious and modern.

No plug sockets near the mirror in the bathroom and no sockets near the full length mirror. If you’re need to use electrical hair appliances forget about it. Paper cups in your room. On the last morning there was no hot water. Breakfast had a fair selection on continental options available but the hot buffet was cold.

Great location, bus stop right next to the hotel. You can walk to the city center in 15 minutes. An excellent breakfast where everyone can choose. I also liked the healthier versions of cereal, seeds etc. Free underground parking and also very nice employees.

Free parking in front of the hotel, which can be used by anyone other than hotel guests. On Friday night there was a football game in the stadium neraby and there was no space to park for us.

Well, to be completely honest this hotel is good only when you need to take a quick rest, so for one night is perfect. For a longer stay you have nothing but tv in your room and breakfast. The staff is very nice but they should check from time to time their websites and make an update, because there's no spa & wellness nor any other facilities to make this hotel 4* fully. Informations should be changed to not make potential guests confused. Even pool table is located in a too tight room that is barely possible to play.

A place to call Home away from home. Lovely staff, courteous, professional and very helpful. When I checked in I was told that they had given me a room to the front of the hotel and considering that I am staying a month, changed to a room at the back of the hotel and asked if this was suitable. Of course it was, the quieter the better it is. I needed a taxi as my app to order an Uber did not work and they did so without hesitation and offered me a cup of coffee while waiting. When I booked breakfast they wanted to know if I wanted to book this for my whole stay and due to early shifts I declined. They offered me a breakfast box instead.... and all this with a smile. My house in Alkmaar is not ready yet as the renovation take longer than expected.... I don't mind. I am very well looked after.

housekeeping could be organised i.e. first deal with the rooms that are occupied than those that have been vacated and have a check-list. I regularly had to ask for toilet paper.

the location of the center of Alkmaar not close, but nothing that a 20 minutes walk or 15 minutes by bus (it has a stop in front of the hotel), but it does not interfere at all.

Very kind staff. They were very helpful with late check-in and adjusting my booking. Location is very conveniently located close to the main highway and entrance to the city; easy to find, free parking. The room was comfortable for this level of hotels. I appreciate the little details they added such as the old telephone and funny cactus. My bathroom was very spacious.

The shower in the bath is a classic issue. There is a gap between the shower screen and the bathtub… as a result the whole bathroom becomes a swimming pool if you shower too long 🤣

Very basic for a 4 star hotel. Hotel and rooms decorated with random furniture and lacking atmosphere. Should be a 3 star hotel.
