The Mykonos View Hotel is an absolutely lovely property located just up the hill from Mykonos Town, within easy walking distance of everything the Old Port area has to offer. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the pool deck is amazing, and the breakfast is truly wonderful. The on-site restaurant is also extremely good on its own terms, and quite reasonable priced, we thought, so we are there several times during our stay, both for the simple convenience of doing so, and because it has a really wonderful view, especially around sunset. We also found the staff to be very kind and accomodating. We really could not have asked for a more pleasant stay.

Perfect location for us, just on the outside of the town itself. The balcony and views from our room made it perfect. The staff were lovely and friendly.

The property and hotel were perfect, just be cautious about the hills to get to the hotel!

I loved the views from my room. Beds were comfy. The restaurant served quite nice breakfasts and dinner wasn't too bad.

If you aren't fit to climb many stairs, the hotel wouldn't be suitable. Furthermore, it was an uphill climb to reach the place from Mykonos Town. So that's double the effort.

Room was spotless, and the view was quite nice. I only wish it had been warm enough to use the pool. Beware of Cycladies winds! The neighbohood cats were friendly.

The breakfast

No one to pick us up from the airport. We got charged 35 euros to get there. We got to the hotel, bathroom was tiny. 1 double bed and one bench classed as a family room. Ant infested beds!!!! On site there were areas that have dubious safety regulations, and the steps to the room and restaurant would be quite dangerous for anyone with mobility issues!.On other sites that I looked at after booking they were priced sooo much cheaper than the 280 euros we paid!!!! I am going to look into getting some sort of refund when I return to the UK as I have pictures to prove of the above.

The view from the pool and our room was amazing. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. The baggage storage was extremely convenient. The restaurant was incredible and very well priced.

The drinks at the pool bar were a bit expensive. Two margaritas were over 30 euros which seemed a bit excessive.

Everything!!! the service was impeccable. The food always delicious. Clean and everybody was friendly professional and happy. The location is perfect. The quick response of the receptions to the servers to housekeeping. It was always quick and efficient. I absolutely loved it.

The only suggestion I would like to make would be if there was a way to possibly have some umbrellas next to the pool. Although I know this is very difficult because of the wind. You might want to take a look at Jackie O beach club umbrellas. They were nets that created shade and the wind didn’t affect them.

no tea or coffee in the room despite having a kettle and cups, when enquired, was advised to but our own. first time to be in a hotel where there isn’t complementary packets of tea and coffee

Great views from the room and all public spaces in the hotel. Walking up the hill was not difficult at all. Daily maid service kept the room spotless. Daily breakfast was great!

absolutely amazing time in this hotel, the staff were all so helpful and friendly. the reception offered us extra pillow when we asked and we were helpful when booking taxis etc. the cleaning staff were amazing and the room was spotless. the location was great only 5-10 minutes walk from the old town. the food at breakfast was really nice with lots of options. the view was amazing from our double sea view room. the WiFi was good abs connected easier.

Unbelievable view from pool and restaurant / bar. Very relaxed pool with good music and cocktails. Amazing location just a 5 minute walk into the centre. Excellent Breakfast.

Busy noisy pool and no transportation from the port. This is a big problem in Mykonos as taxis are hard to come by. Beware

Service was awful. Generally unfriendly and not helpful in the restaurant. Bathroom was unsatisfactory in the room, shower head was broke and asked to fix. They didn't.. Breakfast was an awkward layout which forced a buffet table to be served by a server (again not great service there...) People just seem to hate their job there.

The rooms we had were very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The breakfast that came with the room had many nice choices. It was a buffet style with someone serving you. There were two dining areas that were used and both had a beautiful view of the harbor area. We ate lunch and dinners there as well, the food was exceptional and the prices much better than restaurants down by the waterfront. The wait staff, especially Georgia, and the bar tender Demetrius, were amazing. So helpful and friendly and we looked forward to seeing them each day. The reception was very accommodating and helpful, including booking a sailing yacht for us and transport when needed. The location was a 3 minute walk to the town of Mykonos. The food was so good, especially the mussels. Complements to the chef; and the bartender makes the best Mai Tais I’ve every had. The pool area very nice and had a wonderful view.

I really do not have anything negative to say; although the description of the room on Booking was a bit misleading as I thought I booked a room with two bedrooms. When we arrived and saw the room, the reception added on the room upstairs for us. While we had to pay the extra, it was worth it. While the walk to town is close, it is all uphill when walking back to the hotel.
