There was no washing machine, but the house was very gracious and did a load of washing for us, which were very much appreciated. The cottage was quiet and loved, seeing the Wallabies all around us, and even an a Kidner!

Stayed for 1 night. Allowed us a late checkout. Lock box check in but instructions provided are pretty good so no problems encountered whatsoever.

They ration water on the island and this facility in particular uses the water saved from the rain, so we can’t use much water for the shower lest it gets exhausted.

The location was excellent. Great lookout and privacy. Loved watching the wallabies feeding in the mornings.

As guests are asked (kindly) to remove their shoes at the door, it would be a good idea to tell guests to bring slippers or those extra thick “slippersocks” as parts of floor not covered by mats felt cold.

The cottage is pretty cute, cozy and beautiful!!! You will have everything you need.

Beautiful cosy and comfortable. I definitely recommend arriving before it is dark otherwise it might be tricky to find. The cottage has everything you would need.

The cottage is great for single tourists or couples. It would be quite cramped for a stay longer than two nights as the cottage is quite small.

The light in the bathroom didn't work. There was no vaccum or a washing machine to use.

We stayed in the bedsit style cabin and whilst small, it is set up magnificently. Kitchen is great which is needed on Bruny, plus there is a very good BBQ area for guest use. It is also so well located to other places you are certain to visit. And you will have the small wallabies grazing around you in the evening and morning. A great place to stay, so comfortable.

Everything was so fantastic! We arrived after a long bout of traveling and it was so nice to have a cottage that felt like a little home away from home. Everything was clean, well organized, and there was lots of helpful local info available from our hosts. We had everything we needed for a great stay. Not to mention the wildlife! We were greeted with wallabies in our back yard on arrival!

Location good in that there was no street lighting or traffic. A nice comfortable and well equipped cottage.

Spacious modern fully equipped cabin in beautiful setting in a peaceful location. Only a few minutes drive to Alonnah for great pub food and general store. Hosts very obliging and great communication.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment so we had plenty of room and a larger balcony. We had everything we needed and it was very clean and comfortable. Parking was next to the apartment. We enjoyed some of the local wildlife from our windows. Would definitely stay again.

A laundry facility, even for hand washing, would be good. We appreciate that water is precious.
