Acerca de este alojamiento vacacional
18th century restored stone house in a large mature garden with 360 degree views

Absolutely gorgeous villa! My family and I have visited the South of France every summer for the last 15 years and this is one of the best villas we have ever stayed at. Karine was a wonderful host and her house manager Camelia was very helpful. The amenities are exactly what you need for a perfect holiday and the view is to die for, we will hopefully be back again very soon!

I cannot speak highly enough about our stay in this home in Seillans. From booking with Karine, to checking in and out with Caroline, it was perfect. Caroline was always available to answer questions and give suggestions on places to visit. We enjoyed the property and it’s quiet location. The pool was a wonderful area to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the village. Caroline was able, ahead of time, to set us up with a wonderful Chef that was available to cook several meals for our family of 9 ( including a 3 and 7 year old). Her name is Louis and she was wonderful. We spent most of our time outside, but there is a very nice dining area inside adjacent to the kitchen. And plenty of room and comfortable furniture in the living room area. So, if you are looking for a beautiful hillside home this is the perfect place for you!

Beautiful villa, stylish, wonderful views, walking distance to 3 great restaurants

From the moment we entered the property, it was everything we hoped for and more. The home was beautifully decorated in the style of French country, with a touch of well defined contemporary and perfect in every way. The living room was spacious and
seated all of us comfortably. The kitchen and dining room served us well, with all of the meals we enjoyed at home. There are plenty of outdoor seating areas on the property to enjoy alfresco dining, or just a casual glass of wine.
It is absolutely necessary to rent a car, prior to your arrival, to be able to travel the French countryside and visit neighboring villages.
Most of the bedrooms are on the second floor with a fabulous ascending staircase, so be mindful of that. Two of the guests were 80 and had no problem.
I have nothing, but positive things to say about renting this property.
The system in Seillans of disposing your garbage is an experience, so be prepared! One must pack the trunk of your car with what ever needs to be discarded and drive
it down the road to the recycle/disposal bins and one by
one drop the bottles into the disposal. At first we thought this is crazy compared to our system of curbside pickup, but after we accepted this to be just the way it's done, we found it a humorous experience that was one to tell the tale of.
Love the home and loved the experience. It's off the beat and track from the touristy places and that worked well for us.
Don't miss the neighboring wineries! The tasting is free

We had an amazing stay at the house. It was in a beautiful surrounding village with plenty to do. Cannes and Nice are not too far in the car to which we regularly visited and the property owners and staff were there if we needed anything. We will most definitely be returning, the house was absolutely beautiful and most definitely covered all our needs.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful villa. There was 6 of us although it can comfortably fit more. Fantastic facilities, views and close to lots of lovely things to do. I would thoroughly recommend it.

We absolutely loved Karine's property! The house is beautiful, exactly as described and just such a relaxing place to be. We travelled as a family with 3 children aged 6 and 8 and a 6 month old baby. The children room in the attic is perfect and there was everything available we needed for the baby (travel cot, baby bath, high chair etc). The communication pre-arrival was fantastic and the check in seamless. The only slight issue was that the air-conditioning did not work in one of the bedrooms, but Caroline (the manager) resolved this really efficiently, arranging for delivery of a portable AC unit. We had the most magical holiday and couldn't recommend this house enough.

Amazing property!!
Over the past many years, we have rented many homes during vacations across the US and Europe. Usually looking for higher end and larger homes to accommodate family and some friends. We have been fortunate that pretty much all homes have been excellent and at times amazing. Yet none compare to Karine’s home. It is exquisite! A place that you love the moment you arrive and find it hard to leave. It delivers comfort and luxury.
As a super host, Karine was great from the start, helping us in any way we needed. Caroline who greeted us when arriving was equally great and helpful during the home walk through.
Karine has an amazing gift setting up a home that feels truly luxurious yet very welcoming. That’s hard to do. We’ve been in homes that were luxurious but cold or sterile. Karine’s design details made us fell like this could be our home, and not like you’re intruding on someone else’s. Comforting and welcoming. The interior and exterior designs are stunning.
Kitchen is great, with a large stove that for us as foodies was welcomed. Outdoor areas flowed well with the kitchen area, easy to walk in and out, sit in the very comfortable outdoor seating, eat at the fabulous outdoor dining. Loved the grill! We had 10 people there throughout, it never felt crowded.
That flow between indoor and outdoor living takes full advantage of all the outdoor “zones” which are at multiple levels across the rolling hill, such as the play area, with ping pong table and Boules game. The infinity pool which is private with full view of the village. By the way, the views! Wow!! And, very private location while still easy walking to the village.
Inside, the living room and dining area was extremely comfortable and with a (for those from the US) a Restoration Hardware like feel but better. Each bedroom unique, great bedding (slept very wee) and decor. Showers and toilets very comfortable. Washer and dryer easy to use, with an ample laundry room.
Our only complaint is, a week was too short! Next time we will stay longer.

Not as advertised.
The home was lovely but we had no air conditioning for the first full week we were there. We complained to property manager upon arrival and she said she had solved problem because previous tenants had it set to HEAT. We ended up buying five fans so that we could sleep at night. When cleaning crew reported we had fans in each room the following Saturday, repairman was called and he spent four hours there and replaced a huge canister. I told Caroline upon departure that I felt we had a refund coming, but, of course, no response. House is in more remote area but it was a wonderful place to spend with nine family members. We would like to go back again in two years, but with lack of response from owner and property manager we will look elsewhere.

Beautiful stay in gorgeous area
Loved this house via vrbo pictures and it more than lived up. The style is in wonderful keeping with the history and environment. Great fun cooking, eating, and drinking the local wines in and outside the house. Sleeping arrangements extremely comfortable and the manager and cleaning crew were fabulous. Being able to walk into the village for the boulangerie and cafe as well as shopping are a big plus. Gardens, pool, bells from the village all magic. We visited many ‘villages perche’ in the area and enjoyed lovely markets and great outside restaurants. Highly recommend!

Fantastische plek!

The perfect dream house
This is the perfect house with the perfect views (yes 2 « views » not only one!!). It is like being in a dream. So peaceful yet walking distance from the village, amazingly renovated. The ideal get away from everything. Karine has done an incredible job in renovating this house to a perfect standard thinking of the details one will probably fail to think of. Her team is doing an incredible job to smoothen any issues we could have or challenges we might face. I will definitely come back!

Everything was perfect, we absolutely loved our stay. The house is amazing. We enjoyed the pool area and terrace with spectacular views of Seillans. Great location for exploring the National Park Verdon, Cote d'Azur, beautiful little villages...
We would return there without a second hesitation. We highly recommend this amazing place.
Thanks again Karine!

Wonderful stay at Le Mas du Vieux Moulin
We recently rented the lovely Le Mas du Vieux Moulin with our close friends for a week to celebrate our milestone birthdays. We were 4 couples with 3 teenage kids: 11 people total. There was plenty of space for all of us and we never felt crowded. The whole interior of the house was very tastefully decorated: modern but comfortable. The rooms were airy and bright with wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. Beds were excellent. The bathrooms seemed all new and the entire house was very clean.
The house was very well equipped: The enormous kitchen had an ample supply of dishes, glasses and utensils. The washer and dryer were welcome as was the rack for drying clothes outside. There were plenty of towels and high end soaps and lotions.
The grounds were just beautiful and very well maintained. Star jasmine, lavender and sage plants are everywhere and gently scent the air. We used the large table just outside the kitchen multiple times a day. A huge infinity pool overlooks the beautiful village of Seillans. A large decked area surrounds the pool and has plenty of lounge chairs and covered seating. A ping pong table and petanque are at hand.
The owner, Karine, was very responsive and helpful from the first interaction on. For example, she shared a link to beautifully compiled information about the house and surrounding area with tips for restaurants, excursions, etc. She had also made a restaurant reservation for us and recommended a chef to come over to cook a meal for us. The housekeeper, Caroline, was also very nice and helpful. She met us at the house when we arrived and promptly answered any questions we had during our stay.
The Var region is very picturesque with its perched villages and green hills. There are several other villages nearby and many opportunities for sightseeing, hiking and biking. There are also several very good restaurants in Seillans that we dined in.
Seillans was also a home of artists Max Ernst and Dorothea Tanning. There are numerous pieces of their art to see in the tourism office.
We all loved our visit and made many life memories. Everyone wished we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend Le Mas du Vieux Moulin and hope we get to visit again soon.
Merci!

Our family and their partners have just returned from an excellent two week holiday in Le Mas to celebrate my wife and my 60th birthday. We were a large family group of 8 adults and our 4 month old grandson and the accomodation was perfect for us all. The conversion of the old mill into a modern contemporary home has been beautifully done. The villa sits in a commanding location with terrific views over Seillans , which is a short walk away. It was hard to drag ourselves away from the pool area, but there are many lovely hill top villages in the area and we would certainly recommend a day trip to the Verdon Gorge for spectacular views. Our greatful thanks to Karine and Caroline for their help and advice during our stay.

Beautiful and relaxing
The house is in a stunning position with lovely views of the village and the valley. We loved the recovered wood and ironwork in the renovation. The pool is perfect. The owner and manager were great with communication and information on the property and surroundings was comprehensive. My only advice to guests is have some Euro coins handy for the tolls and bring some binoculars.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!
We stayed at Karine's property for 6 weeks this summer! It's was a magical experience and perfect in every way. The home, the view, the yard, the pool, the village - all of it was unbelievable! We loved the convenience of being able to walk into the center of the village to grab a pizza or just stroll through town every evening. We also walked to the grocery store right down the street almost everyday to pick up what we needed for the day's adventure. It was perfect! The view is something you can't get anywhere else. We could see for miles and also had a magnificent view of the village right from the pool! The location is wonderful for exploring all areas of the South of France and Provence. We traveled all over and were always happy to have this amazing, quiet and relaxing place to come home to at the end of the day. Highly recommend!

Wunderschönes Haus in toller Landschaft
Vielen Dank Karin!

Wow. What a view and what a house!
We stayed here in November for a 40th birthday with three other couples. The house was fantastic and had everything we needed. The views have to be seen to be appreciated. In all it was a very memorable weekend. Thanks.

Beautiful and exceptionally well equipped house in a glorious setting
What a wonderful house in which to spend a holiday. The setting on the hill overlooking Seillans is magical; and it's a beautiful village with enough bars, restaurants and shops to make the short walk there very worthwhile.
The house itself has been impeccably renovated keeping tonnes of period charm but with all mod cons. It really does look better than the pictures. Great kitchen with lots of equipment (a rarity in some rental properties) and very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms.
We spent most time outdoors in the two main outdoor areas outside the house with the two amazing views onto Seillans and down towards the coast; and down at the pool in the pergola area. The pool itself is a massive bonus. At 15m long and deep enough to dive into, it's better than most.
Had a great holiday here. Will hope to be back.

The best holiday home!
We have, through the years, good experience with rental of holiday homes and we had high expectations when we came to the villa in Seillans. The house and the accommodation responded to our highest expectations. Our family of 8 adults and four children had 14 lovely days.
The house and surroundings were perfect for our family, the size of the rooms, the kitchen facilities, the outdoor area and of course the pool area. There is plenty of space to sit together in the lounges outside or inside, or gather at the pool. You can always find a place for yourself if desired. The garden provides plenty of space for children's play and the pool is secured with a solid gate, which was important for us.
We received very good information about the house, locations etc in advance. The house is very well kept and everything is held clean and tidy.
We can give our best recommendations for this holiday home and we would love to come back to this villa.

The Best place to stay
We will continue talking about our wonderful experience. From the information before arrival, to the welcome, and the magnificent property, all aspects were perfect. The house was immaculate and with many comfortable details. We looked at many homes, and are so happy we choose this one. Our family made many joyful memories here.

Stunning property in a beautiful setting - house and grounds all superb and Seillans is beautiful.
We came to Seillans as a group of 11 - 6 friends with 5 children under 5. The house and gardens are absolutely stunning and nothing was too much trouble for Monika and Karine who provided everything we needed. Communication leading up to the holiday was clear and detailed and the online welcome booklet really did give us all the information we needed to enable us to enjoy Seillans and the surrounding area. The house was immaculate on arrival with beautifully presented rooms - some are smaller than the others as to be expected in such an old house but they were all equally lovely and no one was disappointed in anyway. We found the children's playroom with toys really useful and the pool safety devices were fantastic and so unexpected - having an alarm for the pool and all completely gated so we could relax while the children played in the garden, safe in the knowledge that they couldn't accidentally get in to the pool. A real bonus! The hammock was a firm favourite to escape the boiling midday sun as was the covered terrace by the pool with large comfy sofas.
Before we arrived I had asked whether they are able to provide a cot for my youngest child, which they did but on arrival we found they had also provided a high chair and a choice of different thickness baby quilts and sheets for the cot which was really thoughtful!!
I cannot recommend this house enough - it is idyllic - the views are fabulous, it's peaceful yet close to everything you could need, the local villages are charming with narrow winding streets and seriously fantastic restaurants!! We will definitely be going back.
Thank you to Karine, Monika, Una and her team for a truly unforgettable holiday.

Better than Five Stars
We absolutely loved this gorgeous home in Seillans. If we could give the house, village and countryside more than five stars we would. The wonderful attention to detail, both traditional and modern, lovely grounds and pool, walkable location into the village, and easy drive to area wineries made this the best place we've stayed in several trips to Provence. Additionally the hosts were extremely helpful and communicative the entire time. Highly recommended!!

a hidden gem!!!
traveling all over the word i more and more decided to rent a home rather than staying at a hotel! So i got the chance to live in beautiful houses for a little while in spain, italy, mexico, argentina, indonesia and so many other places ... you wanna know my favourite? It´s here! And why is it? This beautiful spot just touches you, these old walls hug you, meanwhile you dont have to miss A thing! Being pampered with highest standards you feel, you get part of this area, you come down and rest and stare. The house with its long history is reawakened silent and with a very good knowledge of this area and its traditions. The huge garden, old trees, the supersized pool, in house these wooden floors and stone covers, you can watch and touch and smell, its a festival for your senses! We came here after a busy time working and i felt home from the very first moment. And even we know this part of the provence being worth to explore we did not leave the grounds, we were just happy staying here! ;o) Karin, the owner, gave us the warmest welcome with just the right tips and cool advices and without torturing one with a katalogue of houserules. And she organized a pick up at the airport, where we got the chance to meet fabulous Ouna, the good ghost of this home, i believe! She drove us two ways and she is a real darling! You can watch the pictures of this home here, that made me book this house, but they do not even tell half of the story! This time we have been just the two of us, but we will be back soon and bring our friends, because this is the place, where you want to celebrate your life, your friendships and yourself!

Amazing!!
After searching for years in France I have finally found a house that combines privacy, beautiful environment, great village nearby with a level of comfort that reflects five star hotels in Asia. It is so rare to find a property in France where there are Anglo saxon sized king beds, air conditioning and modern appliances. This has it all in one place, a total experience. We will be back!!!

Perfect Holiday
This is just the most unspoiled part of france. We had such a lovely holiday in this most perfect Villa. It was clean, comfortable and very well equiped. It had the most beautifull views over the pretty village of Seillans that we never got tired of looking at and seemed to change with the light. The village was busy with art markets, lovely resturant and shops. This was the most perfect holiday so good that we booked again for next year before we left.

A simply stunning house!
We have stayed at many lovely houses in this area since 1999 and without any doubt whatsoever Le Mas Du Vieux Moulin is the absolute best. The booking process with Karine, the owner, was a delight, every question and email answered promptly and the amazing pre arrival online brochure reinforced the quality of this home. We were met by Liselotte, the House Manager who was the most professional, warm and friendly House Manager we have ever encountered, if you think the pictures on the site look excellent just wait until you see it in real life when you arrive!! It is a short walk down into Seillans, our all time favourite village and the views of the village from the terrace and infinity edge pool were simply breathtaking, a view that we never tired of.
The house is immaculate, the A/C works a treat and every bedroom was prepared to a Five Star hotel standard, the kitchen is spacious and there was an abundant supply of high quality china for outside dining.
I could go on and on about this house, but I will end by saying that we had already booked our stay for 2017 before we left this year!
Thank you Karine for such a memorable summer holiday.
