Das Zimmer, die Lage und die Gartenanlage waren sehr schön, Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig. Selbst kurz vor Ende der Frühstückszeit wurde noch nachgelegt. Besonders waren wir vom Service begeistert. Nach einer Panne mit unserem Mietwagen kamen wir verspätet am Abend an. Trotzdem die Küche bereits geschlossen hatte, wurde uns noch ein Snack zubereitet. Das defekte Fahrzeug hatte abgeschleppt werden und durch ein anderes ersetzt werden müssen. Das Personal am Frontoffice hat uns in der Erledigung des Austauschs des Mietfahrzeugs bestens unterstützt und gekümmert. Aufgrund der zu erwartenden später als zum vorgesehenen checkout geplanten Abreise am nächsten Tag, wurde uns spontan eine Verlängerung der Checkout-Zeit ermöglicht. Nochmals vielen herzlichen Dank an Mary und ihre Kolleginnen und Kollegen!

Courtyard is not private at all, room was very open to view from courtyard, curtains were not sealed leaving too much light coming in to the room

Location of the resort.
1 staff member ruined our entire visit. Their inability to act in an adult manner when given a basic request was unprofessional, to say the least. This 1 employee should not be in the customer service industry.

Lovely ambience in the reception & lounge.
The air conditioning in the room didn't seem to reach the bed and surrounding area. Consequently I didn't sleep as well as I normally do.
There was mould on the dark coloured grout between the stones in the shower.
There was mould in the white grout in the lower areas of the shower.

The location is fantastic. We walked across the road for a meal where trees were a couple of options available.

Overall a decent stay for 1 night. Property is nice and staff were friendly. However property could use a little fine touch on the cleaning, especially on the outside around the rooms and stairwells.
Property is tired and in need of a small overhaul. Shower heads didn’t work properly, dirt and cobwebs everywhere on the stairs. Nothing a quick brush and hit with high pressure hose wouldn’t fix.

Dirty. Bathroom smelt urine. Large Cockroach in bathroom. Flies. Beds too small for 4 people. I paid more than the other hotel thinking it was better. Some staff very rude. They need a course in customer service. People with young kids should drive as walking back on ur own in the dark was awful for them but was recommended by staff to walk there.

Gorgeous location, staff were exceptional.
The rooms were very well appointed but perhaps an update might be needed and I’m not trying to be negative but the shower wasn’t super clean.

Rooms were clean and comfortable in a central location
Staff were rude and dismissive, not helpful at all to the point 5 mins before I finally got my key I was about to walk away and not stay at all, then again on check out.
Customer service training to go above and beyond for customers is needed.
There are plenty of hotels in the area where I am at the point never to return.

the fridge did not work and had to be replaced....hunter valley is famous for its semillon wine...i ordered a bottle and was given a bottle of wine produced rom grpes in renmark in south australia!!!!!!

The location of the hotel was most convenient. The room was a little far away from the main hotel and would have been very difficult had it been raining.

The premises and the ground. Breakfast was great.

Loved the feel of the place. High ceilings in our room made space seem bigger and the courtyard was lovely. Very clean and serviced every day. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff friendly and relaxed. Really loved the lounge area with lots of books and games to enjoy with friends along with a nice Port from the bar.
Air con could have been checked before arrival.

Room was very comfortable, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner we had while we were staying there were very good and exceeded my expectations.

Very comfortable enjoyed the fire in the library. Staff in the dining room were extremely helpful.
The air conditioning system lacked instructions and unless u were used to that particular system it was hard to operate.

Good base for vineyards exploring & Hunter Valley Gardens. Scenic aspect/gardens. Games room great for kids.
Complex looking tired though & needs an update. Rooms tidy but showing signs of wear & tear. Spa bath had rusty handles & missing jet plug. Evidence of sealant applied to bathroom areas for leaks. Exterior door to Reception needs good sanding & repaint with well worn door fittings. Room service overpriced, specifically steak overcooked & definitely not 200gms. Breakfast average. No in house movies.
