Really nice first time we have been waited on usually buffet style on hotels we stayed in the pass

We had a really nice meal in hotel but didn't like the service charge if we wanted to leave a tip we would and normally we do

Everything. Bathroom, facilities, extras all top notch. And who doesn't like dressing gowns and slippers. And the breakfast was beautiful.

im afraid the volume of the music in the restaurant was mental, I like a heavy rock band live but not when I’m trying to eat and converse..spoilt what was a fantastic meal

having to change rooms due to a blocked sink. I booked this as a special surprise for by husbands birthday. we had travelled a few hours to get there and unpacked only to find the bathroom sink blocked. we were moved to another room all looks ready for refurb to me.

Room was excellent, separate bath and shower, large room with everything you need. Also had a balcony with a table and chairs on. Although it was a bit cold to sit on it! But would be lovely in the summer. Good location too. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone who wants to stay in that area.

Only downside was, my husband’s full English breakfast was a bit overcooked. As it is a dog friendly hotel, we were a bit concerned. We don’t have any pets. But you wouldn’t know it. We saw 1 small dog.

Lovely large room. Bathroom had a bath and shower. Staff were helpful and friendly, they bought us fresh milk and tea bags when we asked for them. We stayed 2 nights so didn’t get room cleaned on second day as not worth it and cleaning staff put a note under the door asking if we’d like anything as they didn’t go in, never had that before. Great location and although no parking, car park was right next door and it was cheap. Will definitely return.

View out of the window wasn't great (back alley), but to be expected for a town centre.
