The staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. The beds were ultra comfy. Checking in was easy.

It would have been nice for a few more tea bags in the room. The shower looked a little tired but it was clean! X

The hotel was ideally situated with a big carpark bonus being free parking. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. Particularly liked the shower in the bathroom it was ideal. The bath towels were large and fluffy, no hand towels provided. All toiletries readily available and a hairdryer

Everything was good no problems at all

Brekky was okay, decent facilities and had a bar. Car park was tight but decently sized which was the main reason for staying (car show weekend). The lad who signed me in was a laugh though, no idea his name but young chap.

Bit grubby, breakfast was plentyful but low-ish quality. All the doors where super loud but to be fair the sound deadening in rooms was enough to mask the big thuds. Bed was about what you expect from a 2-star but there was a dirty used fork crammed down the side lol

The bar had no drinks and was waiting for a delivery 🤷‍♀️.. a drink before we went out would have been nice

Convenient, quite well priced , check in staff were very friendly

The double beds were horrendous! So hard and uncomfortable, gave me a bad back! Pillows were no good either. Shower was powerful enough but floor very slippery, could easily slip and hurt yourself.

Everything on the visit was just perfect, great night, excellent breakfast, helpful getting taxis into city centre. Staff very friendly over the weekend.

The £100 parking fine we received! Called Ibis yesterday, apparently there are notices everywhere saying to register the car and we must be going around with our eyes shut - quote!! When I asked the lady for her name following this comment, she said that I didn't need it and promptly put the phone down. Call was made 29/6/24 at 1pm, so Ibis you know who that is! Reception also tell absolutely everyone to use the pin pad, according to said member of staff. Well not us, my husband uses hotels/motels all the time for work and is well aware of parking registration. Admittedly we did not check, but we were not told - if we were why would we choose to ignore. I am sure now that there are plenty of notices but beware, what was a fantastic weekend now has a very sour note to it. REGISTER YOUR CAR!!!!! It would also help if this info was on Booking.com
