Zimmer war sehr gross.
Etwas spärlich eingerichtet.
Sauber, jedoch in den Ecken sind die Spinnweben noch vorhanden (liegt eventuell an der Höhe der Zimmer)
Lage direkt beim Bahnhof Locarno
Parkplatz vorhanden (rechtzeitige Reservation nötig)
Frühstück entspricht den Erwartungen eines "Garni" Hotels.
Essraum etwas nüchtern eingerichtet
Verträgt sicher noch etwas mehr Dekoration (würde etwas wärme ausstrahlen)

Das Rio Muralto ist ca 1 Minute Fussweg vom Bahnhof Locarno entfernt und somit in perfekter Lager zum Zentrum und See. Unser Zimmer (Junior Suite) war sehr geräumig für uns 2 Erwachsene und 2 Teeanger. Wunderbar 4 Meter hohe Decken mit toller Stukatur, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer hat viele Fenster welche alle perfekt gedämmt sind, sodass man vom Bahnhof und Strasse keinen Lärm hört wenn diese geschlossen sind. Auch bei geöffneten Fenster kommt nur wenig Lärm herein.
Das Frühstück ist gemütlich und fein.
Wir wurden von den Mitarbeitern sehr sehr freundlich empfangen und für unsere Anliegen wurde stets super gesorgt.

Beim Bahnhof gut geeignet für OeV Reisende. Modern ausgestattet und sympathisches Frühstücksbuffet.
Ev. für einige Leute zu laut, weil an viel befahrener Strasse. Kaum geeignete Steckdosen zum Aufladen im Zimmer und eine komplizierte Dusche, für die sogar eine Gebrauchsanleitung aufliegt.

Tutto! Meravigliosa struttura pulita e accogliente! Vicinissima alla stazione ferroviaria dove siamo arrivati con il trenino delle Centovalli. Possibilità di lasciare i bagagli dopo il check out! Colazione completa di tutto!

A very nice hotel in a beautiful building, very close to the train station for arrivals, departures & the Centovalli train. The lake is 5 Min walk away with plenty of restaurants. Also center is close by. The personell has been super friendly. I enjoyed my stay.

Comfortable room, clean, secure, quiet, with fantastic and friendly staff and as convenient a location as can be—right next to the station. Very nice building.
The AC was so loud turning on and off it would wake me up. Wi-Fi was temporarily down but they had a replacement network available in the lobby area.

2 minutes walking to the train and bus stations. During the winter season this hotel is more like a B&B. Nice breakfast and all-day-long tea and coffee! Very kind staff. The building is historic and the corridor looks like as museum.
Some floorboards were creaky, and sometimes I can hear the sounds from the next door.

The garni is incredibly located, literally 10 steps from the train station and 4 minutes to the lake. Facilities are very clean and orderly. Room was very large and had great windows so you didn't hear the noise from the train station. The building itself is very pretty, beautiful old staircase. Breakfast was minimal but had everything that you needed with fresh local produce - we were also there off season, so it might be different during the summer.
This is my personal preference but I found the beds to be way too hard and no pillows (or rather the pillows they use which are basically flat). It was like sleeping on the floor, though I think this may be a Swiss thing.

Very helpful and friendly staff. I like the portable refrigerator and especially that there is an air conditioner. I also like that there is a shower cap.
The bed was just too narrow, there are no english channels (only news), we did not know how to use the adjustable shower nozzle but the rainforest shower was great.

Excellent breakfast. Hard small mattress, small pillow, very noisy street plus train announcements, with windows closed it was okay. Nice personnel. Plug near bed would be handy.

very neat, modern and well located. Staff was very fiend,t and helpful.
they have a vending machine for beverages downstairs - though it mystifies me why they couldn’t supply water bottles the room normally.
nor really a dislike - but a small issue. the aircon in our room was very no it’s - each time it shut off and restarted it made a huge shuddering noise. it wasn’t the case in the second room we had rented. so this was likely a technical exception only in our room.
