Not been to a Campanile since pre-Covid. This one has had an upgrade. The bed was great - large and new - very comfortable. In addition the bathroom had been refurbished to a high standard. The room smelled clean and fresh. There was tea/coffee making facilities in the room as well. For an overnight stop - this was ideal. Close to the motorway and yet still quiet. The welcome from the manager was warm and friendly. We parked near to our room. We'd reserved a table to eat when we were booking, had warned the manager that traffic would delay our arrival, immediately put our bags in our room and then had a good meal in the restaurant. Next morning we left early and were able to fill up with fuel before getting back on the motorway - Great

One of our rooms was smelling like a gutter and when we asked to change when we came back from a local trip, there was no other room available. My kids had to go and sleep with other members of the family as they could not stand the stench.

the room was clean and the price was reasonable as a budget hotel

we paid for the breakfast buffet, but we disappointed the standard of the food. especially only dry thin white toast bread, due to a supply problem according to the staff. the watermelon pieces (presumably from a tin) in the fruit bowl were gone off. I had to spit it out. I should’ve taken photos of the buffet.

Cheap stop while travelling to Germany. Automated check-in made late night arrival very easy. Lots of parking

No soap or shower gel in the bathroom, but we had our own.

The room is quite small but it was fresh looking, decor wise. The TV was top quality and the beds were nice and comfortable. The bathroom also was very nice, with a nice powerful shower. Tea/coffee facilities and biscuits, are always welcome. Free on site parking and the staff allowed us to park our motorcycles in front of the room, so making them more secure. The restaurant does nice meals, the burger looked pretty generous and the morning breakfast offering was pretty good too. No complaints.

Had to wind the shutter by hand! Previous hotel had electric! :-) Beer prices in the restaurant are very high.

Room was clean and tidy. Shower was good. Bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was almost non-existent. It seems that if you want food, you need to go early! No plates, no cups, etc. We weren’t late! Just not early.

Arrived to find restaurant was closed - in spite of having received a message that day saying “it is a pleasure to welcome you on the terrace and in our restaurant from Monday to Saturday. Enjoy our new seasonal courses concocted by our chef.” !!!

No breakfast taken. Room and bed ok for one night - air conditioning unit kicked in every hour , making aloud noise. Room 44. Arrived late out of hours - 3 rooms booked but only one was shown on the self log in screen. Had to ring the out of hours telephone , to be met with a laughing and unhelpful gentleman, who eventually said the keys for the other two rooms was in the one shown on the screen!! Why was this information made available to us before we travelled , after I had sent an email to say we would be arriving late. Very poor.
