The staff really made it. The young man gave restaurant recommendations and information about the city. The lady (I think the manager) spent 20 minutes helping us when we had an issue with our car. Exceptional service

Aircon wasn’t strong enough

I liked everything. The bedroom was a good size with an en-suite bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable. Tea making facilities too. Quiet and air conditioned. There was a bar, which was greatly appreciated after a long journey.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for a few weeks, but I had been forewarned by the hotel and came prepared.

Bath in room, always a bonus. Comfy bed. Great location and good value for money.

Drains weren’t great. Water barely drained from sink, toilets barely flush. No water bottles in room, but thought it might be standard for all hotels in this price bracket. If it’s an eco thing, then fair enough, but at least a glass carafe, in this case. Aircon not great, or easy to operate.

It is centrally located, however not in the best street. The hotel is facing rail station parking lot and it didn't seem to be the safest environment at night

Room was quiet and reasonable size, bed was comfortable, had a good nights sleep, our room overlooked the railway station, didn’t hear any trains. Breakfast was very nice, staff were very friendly and helpful. May well stop there on the way back. The restaurant was superb, we had burger and chips, it was delicious and well presented on the plate. They had private parking for €7. There is a big car park out side of hotel if you prefer, I think it was €9.40 for 24hrs. The town is about a 10 minute walk up hill.

The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean, the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, and we appreciate being able to park the car in a private space for a reasonable price..
