I didn’t have breakfast/ a little pricey for me & I am plant based/ vegan and based on dinner I knew there wouldn’t be alot of options for me.
More vegan/ plant based options

The girl in reception when we did our check-in was super super nice, and the guy when we did our check-out was also very attentive. Pillows and bed were incredibly comfortable
The location is hard to access if you don’t have a car, the rooms are older than what is shown in the pictures

The glass carafe for water and fontains in corridors are nice idea and it is much better than getting one bottle of water for the whole stay which other hotels do. However, this idea is spoiled by the fact that there are only paper cups available in the room.
Hotel is clearly focused on french speaking people, which I find a little weird in this area. In the restaurant I got only french menu and when I asked the waitress if I am supposed to translate it on my own, she just said yes. Also I don't understand why they ask how cooked you want your meat when they bring something between well-done and black coal. And local beer for 12 euro.
Breakfast was somehow average - optically there is something, but at least I had problem to find something I would like. Tasteless scrambled eggs are quite common at hotels and this wasn't an exception. For that money I would expect something better.
It seems that recently everyone in France is "protecting environment" by not giving you printed receipts. Which is especially annoying when they are not able to really send them via email as they announce and you need to write them and ask for it. Maybe the environment would be happier if they didn't have an empty minibar in each room cooling nothing.

very good sized bedroom but bathroom and toilet were outdated.
staff were unfriendly and not welcoming.

check in - staff were friendly
Had to leave due to unforseen circumstances 5 days earlier than we had booked - asked for understanding of situation and at least some small refund (the hotel was not full by any means) - was told by the reception (and manager) to then contact Booking.com as they could not do anything without their confirmation. Was eventually told (7 days later) by the hotel that no refund was forthcoming (and to read our contract). Even a small compensatory refund (and thus human understanding) would have been sufficient (as we were given impression by the hotel staff) but this was quashed by the management under the indifference of a business contract.

The restaurant and breakfast were good. The pool and bar were nice. Big room. the location is good to explore cannes, antibes, etc and private parking is available without any cost.
I was shocked that a mercure 4 star hotel was with lack of staff on august! there were moments where you couldn't find anybody available. Worst than that the staff from the bar and restaurant did not speak english! They also forget to put a crib in the room and to guarantee the early check in which was requested months ahead. If I hadn't insist I wouldn't have had a place to put my toddler to sleep. It was also problematic to have pool towels as they would everyday find a new excuse to justify the lack of available towels (problems with the cleaning machines, etc).

Nice location in the wooded hills near Nice. Very peaceful without being too peaceful .

The common areas were very pleasant, it felt like the hotel had an atmosphere you want to hang out in. There was a lovely bar and good enough drinks and food options. The pool area was a bonus, sizeable and relaxing.
The 3rd bed was broken in the room we were staying in and when they moved our room it was an awful contrast in standard. So bad I asked to be moved back to accept the broken bed and moved the mattress to the floor.

Location was perfect as a base for visiting the area with some beautiful little towns within a short drive and places like Antibes, Nice and Monaco with easy reach. Pool area was good with plenty of sun beds and was not always too busy (only once we went to the pool for a dip and couldn’t get a sunbed).
Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Located in a park area with some good shaded walking trails.
Hotel seems to be popular with business travellers as well as couples and families.
Car was a necessity as no shops/supermarket/ restaurants (other then the hotel restaurant) within walking distance, but we were aware of this when we booked. Closest supermarket is a 5 minute drive away, in a small commercial zone which also has pharmacy, patisserie and a few eating places/ restaurants overlooking the golf course. Hotel is located within a technology park so can feel quite isolated, however this also means it is peaceful and away from the craziness of the beach resorts!

Pleasant night shift staff and good cocktails.
Horrible rooms, cracked walls, chipped tiles. Extremely old facilities, probably from the 90s.
Super worn out.. Bathroom was atrocious.
Not worth the money at all.
And they double charged me. They did return the money but they were super difficult about it in the phone

Generally, nothing but localization in deep forest of Sophia Antipolis. It's okay for business travellers that have packed agendas for meeting. Else, it's a NO-NO hotel.
Basically, hotel shall be completely demolished and re-built from ground-up. There was some effort put to refresh the lobby area, but the rest - it is D R A M A T I C. Extremely overpriced and with basic, outdated amenities, old and shabby furniture in rooms. Despite the heat in the region, not even a smallest bottle of water was offered - neither at the reception, nor in the room (do they expect people to drink from tap?)
In general:
- dirty and torn carpentry in hallways
- shabby and (really) worn furniture in rooms
- room amenities relevant to gas-station resting room (EMPTY little fridge, electric kettle + 2 paper cups + 4 bags of tea)
- leaking bathtub-o-shower
- flaking paint on doors
- lighting in rooms and hallway that brings memory of a horror movie
