Location was 15 minutes walking from center, which was fine. The hotel was nice and clean.

The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect. Just a short 10-minute walk away from the Notre Dame of Rouen Cathedral, we were able to explore the city's historical gems with ease. Additionally, the Jeanne d'Arc church was only 20 minutes away. The convenience and accessibility of these attractions truly enhanced our overall experience. We were delighted to find a clean and well-maintained environment. The attention to detail in terms of cleanliness was evident, and it immediately put us at ease. The shower provided a refreshing and invigorating experience, and we couldn't help but appreciate the thoughtfully provided shower gel. Despite being centrally located, the hotel managed to create a serene atmosphere that allowed us to recharge and get a good night's sleep. The curtains were effective in keeping the room dark, ensuring we woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.

In the first room the toilet flush was broken, the receptionist moved us without a problem, but the second room had background noise which sounded like the air con (but i had switched it off) so not the best nights sleep

Great location for those driving and does not want to drive into the city Center. Can easily drive and park here. It has a secure basement car park. This hotel is just 15 - 20 mins walk from the Center area. The parking charges is 0.60 euro per hour. Great breakfast for 18 Euro.

Bad organisation at arrival: sofa bed for kids was not ready and we needed to wait to understand what was happening. Sofa bed extremely uncomfortable and noisy. Mattresses too thin and frame too hard.

The refund process is not yet complete, I filed a complaint with Visa, they have already replied that there was an error in the booking. The money was withdrawn only a day later, and the previous hotel was not shown as paid during the transaction. Thus, 2 different hotels were booked for one night, which we found out upon arrival at the hotel, not earlier. But a person cannot be in 2 hotels at the same time. They called the booking and could not help with the annulation, although it is their mistake that they did not show the completion of the payment for the first hotel and did not immediately send an email. This 2nd hotel in Mercure Rowan was chosen only because of the presence of a hammam, but it closed too early, inconvenient for tourists, and during the day I wanted to see the city, besides, upon arrival, the staff did not inform about its opening hours, the information was provided the next day. I was unlucky with the porter, I got not the most polite and fulfilling my duties, I waited for half an hour while she was talking on the phone. All our troubles were compensated by the fact that Rowan is a very beautiful city, which I want to return to again. And the whole of Normandy is gorgeous too! We visited several cities and got very pleasant impressions.
