it has a pool which is a big plus for us, our kid loves when he can splash
something has to be done about the staircase!!!! and it’s urgent!!!!
the elevator was out of service so we were forced to take the stairs which should have been no big deal, only 2 stories. but oh, the stench! the carpet was so stained and old and they poured some perfume on it so that it smelled exactly like those outdoor plastic public toilets we had a few years back… horrific. we made a contest each time to see if we could hold our breath until second floor.
this kind of thing never happened to me, I promise I am no delicate flower. but it was really this bad!!!
the second thing is the restaurant. very expensive breakfast at 19 euros per person, not enough plates, you had to wait almost 10 min for the staff to bring some more, not enough food either, more waiting... guys, you don’t receive so many people if you cannot feed them! and 49 euros for 2 adults and a 8yo child is abusif!

The fold out bed was missing a slat. Found out at midnight, this made for a very uncomfortable sleep.

Food in the restaurant was not adequate, every portion was a different size and menu was limited. Food was a very poor standard. Breakfast was also poor. No hot food - had to keep asking staff to bring it out.

Location, 24hour access, secure parking, pool nice for a dip in the morning. Perfect stop over.

Breakfast was way overpriced for what it was, I cancelled my second and third mornings as it just wasn't worth it. Nothing wrong with the food or selection but you would have to eat a lot of it to get moneys worth. there was talk of a "city breakfast" at the bar in the hotel info but it was never offered nor did I see anyone having it so assume it was not available.
Breakfast as above, maybe 10 euros and it would be about right.

we asked for a pet friendly room. They said they would see to our request then 4 days before our stay we learnt that they do not allow dogs. Booking. com cancelled the room but when we sent a message to complain and ask for a refund we did not receive a reply. We booked into the Novatel in Rouen and lost the money on the Le Mans booking.

Free water fountain with fizzy water and live music at dinner. Staff speak English and super friendly. Pool was good too.
