The swimming pool was lovely and the reception staff very kind, polite and helpful. Also the breakfast was Outstanding.

The evening meal was poor, the vegetables came out cold on the dish. I asked for them to be warmed up and the whole plate was put in a microwave, destroying the steak. I was offered a new meal, but instead a new steak was put on top of the now very sad vegetables on the original plate. Not a good effort from the chef. Absolutely no care or effort put into the most expensive item on the menu.

Restaurant very poor. Food cold. Sent back, reheated in microwave! They did not charge for the cold food but I wanted a hot meal. No space on rhs of the bed to get out… well maybe 15cm. Tire decor.

Location is great for travellers through France since it's two minutes off the motorway, but not at all noisy. Breakfast is excellent. Bar food in the evening is indifferent to poor. (If you want better than a dried out burger you need to head into town - but that's only 5 mins) Extremely welcoming of pets. The grounds are extensive and grassy bordered by woodland with pathways - so it's just great for post-driving dog zoomies Very friendly staff. Design of hotel is totally kid-friendly. Pool situated by the bar - so parents can keep an eye on things. A nice touch is a fizzy water dispenser in the hall way - much better than having to pay for bottled water!

Apart from the evening food there is nothing that isn't great.

Calm cosy place. Friendly reception. Small nice garden. Good meals. Parking okay.

Sofa bed not so comfortable. Maybe the rooms would need some updates.

The room size and bed were appropriate.

Food: The food was substandard. The breakfast eggs were powered and watery. There was very little taste. The bacon was cooked like ham and not a traditional crisp bacon. Drinks were expensive. Seven euro for a four euro beer!

AC did not work in room. Powdered eggs for breakfast, a no go. They were mushy. Dinner was also not enjoyable. Hotel seemed to be understaffed, it took awhile to to get service.

the beer wine and food at the restaurant are beyond exceptional. Example: Childrens menu for a four year old was around 10Euro with three courses and a drink. it was the size and quality of the food that impressed us. one thing the French know well is how to do food properly. i had the Steak tartar and a Belgium beer. Was awesome. Rooms were great also. Plus there are multiple EV charge points across the road using chargemap card

No coffee in the room.. apparently the owner / manager does not like coffee. Really, lucky the reception had some but have to say I find it odd just to supply tea. Thus my rating. Also under the bed was a half used bottle of coke that makes me question the cleaning.

It was really nice, although the carpet in the upstairs lobby has seen better days.. sorry
