The blankets were terrible.

The location. The hotel is located in 10-15 minutes of walk from the city center (Old Town - the most beautiful part of Dresden). The closeness of public transportation. You can reach almost any part of Dresden using the public transport the stops of which are located nearby the hotel. The breakfast. The high quality tea and coffee, the good choice of juices, champagne on Saturdays and Sundays, the food of the rich choice for any taste and of the very high quality. The hotel's interiors, but see what I did not like. The interiors of the good, attractive and stylish design in a quite non standard style which definitely differentiates this hotels from other of dull and monotonous design.

The ergonomics of hotel interiors. The stylish and artistic design sometime plays a bad joke to you. The ergonomics of the room equipment is very very poor. Imagine, the table with the coffee/tea stuff on it together with the electric cattle, this table is directly and firmly attached to the door of wardrobe, thus, each time you need to access the wardrobe, you need to move the table. The electric cattle on this table is the another awful and awkward story, the cord of cattle is very short, thus you need to move the cattle stand at the very far edge of the table to connect the cattle to the wall outlet. Obviously, you cannot access the wardrobe while the cattle is connected, also, if you forgot to disconnect the cattle and move the table to access the wardrobe, the cattle and its stand with all stuff on it will fall down on the floor. Another one anti-perfection story is the TV set mounting. I wonder who did invent that? What s the crazy and stupid idea to mount the TV behind the window curtain?! The TV channels are mostly in German, only one English and one Italian. The availability and the assortment of vegetables for breakfast might be improved. The rooms are not cleaned by default, you need to put the corresponding label on the external hand of the room door. Towels are not changed by default during the clean up, you need to use 'towel on the floor' code to have it replaced. During the cleaning the tables are not wiped. Glasses are not washed. The tableware brought from the restaurant is not removed. The very very poor room lighting, it is not sufficient for reading in any area except the area of the pillow on the bed. The water temperature in the shower is not stable, thus you might be `surprised` while taking a shower. No toothpaste, no toothbrushes. The receptionist, which I met on my check-in, has the quite poor English. Therefore, I would like to conclude that four stars for this hotel is definitely the mistake.

the room was spatious, clean, with huge windows. i really liked interesting interior design. hotel has its own parking underground and is situated close to the city centre. we really liked the Penck theme.

the bathtub drain was not working properly, but it wasnt a big issue as we stayed just for 1 night.

excellent location, close to old City, the Zwinger and Elbe. Comfortable room and bed. quiet place.

only one liquid soap in the whole bathroom, so you should take it when go to douche.

The bed and the location. The staff were very helpful. The bed was so comfortable. Parking was also very good. And easy to reach. Breakfast was good.

The room was clean but I found dust in obvious places; on the window frame of the window between room and bathroom. One wipe and it would be gone. And in the upper corner of the shower. The floors had no carpet which was great. Just small attention to detail.

Pet friendly hotel with comfortable rooms and very near to the city center
