The restaurant is pretty good with a good local wine selection
The rooms at the street are noisy and warm so opening a window is not an option. I think the rooms and public areas could benefit from a more contemporary touch-up

Breakfast is great--Freshly baked eggs and bacon. Nice fruit and bread types available. Breakfast room has WIFI and therefore INternet connection possible during Breakfast. Sauna/Wellness area is small but a great area and relaxing.

The staff was super nice, especially at breakfast. Really enjoyed the experience. The tea and cookie bar in the evening was also very much appreciated.

The Room on the main road with no air-conditioning. This is a charming hotel built in in the 18th century...but so very modern. I would recommend insisting on staying off the main street in Bensheim.

Clean, quiet, friendly check in, good breakfast. Nicely decorated rooms. It‘s a family owned hotel, you can tell. Has a nice park. Recommend sitting there in the morning and reading your news paper with a to go coffee from the breakfast.
