Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich, zuvorkommend und hat uns dort geholfen, wo es geklemmt hat. So gab es vergünstigte Bahntickets, mit der man ganz Düsseldorf erkunden konnte. (4€ statt 7,20€) Frühstück war für den Start in Tag ausreichend. Ich hätte mir noch frische Croissants gewünscht, aber jeder frühstückt ja anders. Für meinen Grund zum Besuch des japanischen Viertels, hätte Ich jedoch auf das Frühstück verzichten können, da dort um die Ecke genügend Gastronomien vorhanden waren. Wer eine gute Lage sucht, um ganz Düsseldorf zu erkunden, findet mit dem Hotel den perfekten Startpunkt. Das japanische Viertel ums Eck, die U-Bahn nicht mal 50m weit entfernt, mit der man die Stadt erreichen kann. Zimmer waren sauber und hatten alles, was man von einem 3 Sterne Hotel erwarten kann.

Für mich war es neu, dass eine Zimmer reinigung alle 2 Tage stattfand. So musste Ich an der Rezeption nach einer großen Mülltüte nachfragen, da Ich noch ein Baby bei mir hatte und die Windeln den Müll in den Zimmer zu schnell voll machten. Das war für die Rezeption jedoch kein Problem. Obwohl in der Reservierung für vergünstigte Parktickets nachgefragt (15 statt 23€ pro Tag) gab es für mich keines mehr, während meines 3 tägigen Aufenthalts. Wer also mit dem PKW anreist, sollte diese Preise miteinberechnen.

location was excellent; walking distance to everything worth seeing in the city. 5 minute walk to the train station with lots of shops and eating places and less than 10 minutes to reach airport.

the room was very small. the "desk" was very low so it was not possible to use it for work. instead of a double bed there were 2 twin beds pushed together and the mattresses kept coming apart. the blanket was too narrow and there was only 1 pillow that was too thin.

The lady on reception was lovely and really helpful! She was also very kind when my friend's managed to lose the umbrella I was lent by the hotel.

The only issue with the hotel for me was perhaps the location being a little out from Old Town but it was only a relatively short walk away so it didn't present a problem and I am sure that is part of why the price was more affordable.

The young staff is very friendly, and the location is really good.

The rooms are old and need some upgrading. I stayed on the top floor and the shower didn't have enough hot water.

Great location, in the heart of little Tokyo and a close proximity to all the sights of Dusseldorf. Definitely good value for money.

The room did not have airco, and the carpet in the hotel lobby has an old smell and should be replaced.
