Breakfast was great, lots of selection, and catered for vegan and gluten free, you wasn't rushed, very happy .

We had my sons wedding there on Monday 2nd December, the DJ, Ron, an older gentleman really wasn't very good, he didn't use the playlist, he messed up their first dance, you couldn't understand him, he had the Mike right up against his mouth, his choice of music was not that of the bride and groom. Very disappointing. . The bride was very upset about this. The intenery was not used played one song from the playlist, , would not recommend RON, for a disco DJ ever. The whole day was fabulous, until the DJ , came on, playing 70,s music, which the bride and groom didn't know, when their in there 20s, 30s, I went over to him and asked if he could play some 90,s. He was on his phone at this point and he replied yes. But it was some time before a 90 ,s song was played. Definitely not happy about the dj.

No bottle water in the room I arrived late and wanted to take my tablets I had to drink tap water, which I normally do not

Stains on bath towel, no phone to contact reception, breakfast was horrible toaster didn't toast and only streaky bacon !, toilet seat loose, a long walk to room from reception.

Very comfortable beds, singles were really big. Lovely staff and a great breakfast.

Arrival was shocking, reception couldn't allocate a room on arrival as non were available, when we were finally allocated a room there was an employee fitting out the interior, reception apologised and it took another long wait in the corridor to allocate a room. This was a dreadful experience on our first visit to this hotel.

Room was very nicely appointed. breakfast was very good. food was interesting, although not really what I would call really good. the dessert was nice but seemed a bit phoned in.

no internet in the room. which was disappointing as it was advertised as free Wi-Fi. food, although cheap was disappointing, and the selection of beers was quite restricted. whole place was under construction so there was an eerie mix between modern hallways and seventies style corridors like something from the shining. the service in the restaurant was slow and I waited for at least 20 minutes for my bill to come once I had finished my meal

The staff were rude, we lasted about a hour then asked for a full refund and left. The rooms we were given we not fit for use. A wardrobe door wasn't fitted properly. There was no air con in the rooms, when we tried to find out why it didn't work, there was no phone inthe room to speak to reception. To window didn't shut and we were on a main road. When we arrived and checked in we were sent about 100/150 meters down a corridor to go up so stairts, to the pretty much come back on ourselves to our rooms. When we got to our rooms I noted a door that leads to the stairs situated in the reception lobby. All this with a OAP who was clearly struggling to walk and using a walking stick. The place was/is under construction and they have clearly done a rush job to get it done for the wedding that was on that day. When my wife went down to reception, to ask about the air con, she was told it works and she just needed to follow the instructions, which she already had done. After trying a second time my wife went down again (no phone in the room). Maintenance then confirmed the air com hadn't been connected to the rooms we were in yet. It was a hot day on the 28th June 2024. They couldn't provide fans, they did have one other room which apparently did have air con but we needed two and God only knows what that room would have been like. The manager did offer use a full refund and we could find ourselves somewhere else to stay, this was around 4:30pm. We did manage to find somewhere else, packed up and went to reception to check out and get the refund sorted. I was then told the refund would take around 28 days as we booked via booking.com. I questioned this to which the young girl at reception shrugged her shoulders and said "that's how third parties work". The service was shocking from start to finish, please stay away from this place.

We stayed in a newly refurbished room. Very modern and relaxing Clean and comfortable beds Modern bathroom

Breakfast was mediocre. Hall carpets are to light grey . Won’t last long but it’s very modern
