We liked the appearance and touch for details throughout the establishment. Top level patio is gorgeous, rooms were clean and well prepared. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Overall, a great stay in Volterra.

Great location in the middle of the town. Very beautiful rooms. Lovely lounge for reading and coffee. Breakfast was superb. The host was very helpful with bag drop and parking in the ZTL.

Rooms over the street, while atmospheric, can be noisy from below. Ask for a room at the back if street noise bothers you.

Wonderful, welcoming hotel in a stunning location. Although there are many rooms everything felt very personal and our hosts always had time for us, always had a smile and were extremely helpful. The hotel is right in the centre so all the sites are just a few minutes walk away. The roof top garden and cafe were a welcome bonus. There was a great choice of good quality food for breakfast. I loved and used the gift of a travel diary with information about Volterra, and would recommend getting the Volterra card as the museums were excellent. We would highly recommend this lovely place and hope to return.

The location was perfect as it was right on there Main Street of town. The hosts were very helpful with suggestions for things to do and getting us a restaurant reservation. Breakfast is included and it was delicious.

Rooms on the street are noisy, at least on Saturday night. Ask for a quiet room unless you are a night owl.

After hours check in worked really well. Breakfast was good, with gluten free options. Very friendly welcome and great location in the middle of town.

Hotel in a great town centre location, even with the walk from the free car park. Really pleasant and helpful owner and staff and dealt with communication and our late arrival with no problems. Rooms fairly simple but absolutely fine. Good selection of items for breakfast. Would definitely book again.

The family who run the hotel were lovely--incredibly helpful. The hotel has a lovely bar on the roof. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet.The twin room was perfectly acceptable.

Nothing really

An immaculate small hotel, beautifully decorated and with very helpful and pleasant staff. An exceptional breakfast and a very nice garden with cafe. The hotel is perfectly positioned in the centre of Volterra, you just step out of the door and you are in the middle of town. I was a single traveller and made a late reservation so probably didn't get the best room but it was large, spotlessly clean and airy (only a view onto the light well though).

Albergo Etruria was the perfect stay for our trip. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived and we felt immediately welcome. Everyone is friendly and kind. The rooms were themed and we stayed in the rose room. Our favorite thing was the window onto the road where we could people watch all the activities happening at the cafe and shops. We loved the peaceful and relaxing rooftop too! There is air conditioning and a working shower with fantastic water pressure. We also enjoyed the breakfast!

Great location in the middle of Volterra - restaurants, shops and attractions literally on the doorstep. Huge breakfast. Wonderful terrace next to the city walls but opening times of the cafe/bar were unpredictable.

Room was quite dark with the only window facing onto an internal light well. Small bathroom with difficult access to the shower.
