Vasilis Hotel offers spacious and clean rooms away from the city center. The rooms are fully equipped for a family to stay for weeks and have a comfort balcony. The staff is friendly and ready to satisfy the needs of the customers. The view is good and you can see the back side of Palamidi Castle and even the sea since the rooms are located in a little higher altitude. The rooms are a little far from city center but within 15 minutes walking distance from the central bus station.

The biggest problem was the complete lack of sound proofing. You could hear everything from every other room and that was a little tiring at times. The beds were a little firm in places and the pillows were too fat and firm. Finding a parking space around the hotel can be a challenge when the hotel is fully booked (and so does the hotels around it in high season).

Room was clean and large. Location was a bot away from the town but ok.

Was more like an air bnb than a hotel. No breakfast etc.

It is a bit run down, the bathroom is a disappointment, does not live up to 21st century standards

Μεγάλο δωμάτιο με ωραία θέα (Παλαμήδι)και είχε και φούρνακι διπλό κρεβάτι ένα μόνο και καναπές κρεβάτι.Καθαρο επίσης με ψυγείο και ήταν ευγενικοί.

Μέναμε στο δεύτερο όροφο και οι σκάλες ήταν εξωτερικές αλλά τα κάγκελα είχαν μεγάλο κενό .Αυτο το είπαμε στη ρεσεψιόν και είπαν ότι θα διωρθωθει όπως επίσης στον τιμή των 70€ τη βραδια(Χριστούγεννα) θα ήθελα και κάποιο πρωινό.Εξου και το 8 σαν βαθμολογία.

Excellent value for money. Very comfortable with a lovely balcony.

Noise from other rooms. The sound insulation was not very good.

The view was quite spectacular, but my wife didn't like the very steep and narrow road up the hill to get there and it was difficult to walk down on foot. Although the rooms are quite old, they were clean and the host was very nice

Bed mattresses were a bit lumpy for our liking and decor rather old.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Big spacious room with amazing views of the gulf and fortress. Clean and comfortable. We spent 1 night there on a road trip.

Walls were quite thin and we could hear our neighbors both upstairs and next door. Not for the light sleeper. Parking and the steep driveway were difficult, especially in the rain. Part of the unique hillside location though.

The location was good, 20-30 minutes to the magnificent old center. Room size and balcony size were bigger than usual.

The road to hotel is a steep street, might be inconvenient for inexperienced drivers Water heater should be turned on 20 minutes before shower and turned off prior to shower - its a bit ridiculous in year 2023

the hostess is so nice and kind and always around, to fulfill any wishes the guests may have. The rooms is very big and comfortable, clean and we had a grand view of the fortress and the sea. We had a great time and I wish, we could have stayed longer..

the beds is a little bit old and used up. The kitchen essemble was good, only some glasses for lemonade and wine was missing and some big coffee cups

Excellent base to visit Nafplio and ancient cities of Mycenae, Corinth and Epidaurus. Spacious and confortable room with kitchen.

Just be aware that the street leading to the hotel is steep.
