We used Uber to arrive from the Train Station in 5 Bicas, an old building, located in a calm neighborhood. On the street night, you have a lot of student bars and restaurants (like 100 Montaditos and Ramona). The 5 Bicas is located 10 minutes from the Ria and the touristic zone which is always busy with music, restaurants, and tourists, a place to hike by day or night. An old building (like the entire street), where the spaces were simple, clean, and safe. The kitchen for the breakfast has coffee, bread sweets, and salties. You can find a small supermarket near home (SPAR). The private bathroom is good (and you have another for a floor). Our bedroom was small (for 4 people, but we were in 3). The 5 Bicas attention before the trip, during the check-in, and the support was good!

We have had problems with the mosquitos because the windows didn't have protection.

The check-in process was easy and well-described. The room is simple but has everything you need for a short stay. The location is great - everything is reachable by foot from this accommodation.

The beds are super squeaky. Whoever turns a little while sleeping, he will wake up both himself and the person next to him. Pillows could also be more comfortable.

The place is quiet, close to the center and with free parking near, so it is a good choice to spend some days both for work or for leisure. Beds are comfortable.

My bedroom smelled a little damp. Maybe they do not need to clean the towels every day, if I am staying two or three days, is comfy but a waste of water.

Unfortunately, the noise from downstairs is unbearable. It lasts till midnight at least, so this place woudn't be the best choice for a relaxing stay. The room has no real window, no fresh air - it's kind of stuffy and dark. Taking that into account the price should be much lower. I wish I could say something nicer because contact with personnel was good.
