Breakfast was good with plenty of different dishes to choose. The room was clean. The staff was very helpful when asked for help.

Dinner in hotel restaurants was very expensive, but taste and portion size did not come with price. In the restautants outside of the hotel we ate much better food much bigger portions and paid 3 times less. Also, hotel calling itself intercontinental should be more adjusted to foreign tourists in my opinion. There was information in the indoor swimming pool, that your tattoos should be covered. Also, first hotel in which staff told me that bathrobes given by them can not be used to get from my room to the indor swimming pool.

Perfect outlook over the sea, nice facilities with multiple pools, convenience stores, restaurants, a golf course and a tennis court. Friendly and attentive staff

Really need more vegetarian options at the lunch and dinner restaurants. Great that the city is only a 1000 yen cab ride away to open up those options.

Staff friendly and room clean

Limited food option. There are no vegetarian options at all. For dinner either expensive Japanese food or below average overpriced buffett. For aich a big resort and for the price very disappointing. No room service can't get a bite for dinner. Hotel is pretty dated. Rooms are old. Balconies have no furniture despite being spacious. Hotel was empty, but they put us on the lowest floor with a view of the foyer roof.

the amenities were great! several outdoor pools as well as an indoor pool for rainy days. the beach was just so/so (very rocky due to coral). Service was exceptional everywhere we went!

our shower had lots of mold on the grout and the cleaning crew was unable to make it to our room most of the stay despite us being out and about for 4-6 hours at a time. I think they are still opening up a bit after the pandemic and I suspect staffing levels are a little low (as they are everywhere)

I’ve stayed many times at this hotel. location is great and if you have kids, there’s so much to do on the property that in theory you never have to leave.

it’s overpriced, especially if you don’t utilize all the “free” stuff. breakfast isn’t that great and the line for breakfast was soooo long. they need a better system or to open a third place. the older buildings could use a renovation.

Friendly, professional service. Beautiful room, very clean and comfortable with a gorgeous view of the ocean.

Breakfast was good enough, but disappointing given the price and the standard of other (lower-priced) hotels I have stayed at in Japan. More local specialities and products would have been nice. Smell of gasoline throughout the gardens--not sure where it was coming from but took away from the experience of strolling around the very pretty pools and gardens.

well maintained property

non accommodating for people with dietary restrictions. especially vegan or vegetarian. although there are some options available but do not taste good. I can make better food compared to what was served.

hotel was a wee way out of town so needed a car if you wanted to go off the property. some facilities not open due to covid

Nice location and facilities

Restaurant inside the facility are expensive and there are very few options in the menu for vegetarians!
