Every year we pick a new vacation spot for a family get together. This year we chose Lake of Ozarks. Art was fantastic as a host. Kept in communication with us. Home was clean. Will definitely keep in mind for future get aways

This is our second year at this property and we love it. Have stayed several other places in the area and will be looking to book again for next year.

This is our third year staying here, it has never disappointed. Art has always been very responsive, great to work with.

Very pleased with everything about this property! Very clean well kept and location was A+. Communication with the host was professional and appreciated. Truly enjoyed our first time to the Ozarks!

Art gave great restaurant suggestions. House was right on the water. Great dock. Boat/Jet ski rental. 2 minutes away. Plenty of room for our 6 family members and pet.

We had a great time at Art’s property - he was super accommodating and the location was perfect.

Would liked to have met the host. We were not able to enjoy being outside on the deck due to an invasion of bugs & dead bugs on deck furniture, siding, & windows which was no fault of the owner. Dog hair throughout, & on furniture we felt could have been cleaned much better. The view was beautiful & enjoyed sitting on the dock with our golden retriever.

Home’s cleanliness was below normal standards. We had to wipe out refrigerator & freezer prior to use. Bathroom floors were dirty plus hair & dead spiders. No hairdryer supplied. Kitchen lower cabinet shelves were dirty, table chairs arms were gross with grime. Queen bed was very uncomfortable. The deck was nice, but wish it had Wi-Fi. Busy boat traffic area. Two days of fishing were disrupted by construction on the shoreline. Despite the flaws, we managed to have a great vacation in the Ozarks

Great property. Excellent dock. Caught lots of fish. Comfortable and well stocked. Close to lots of fun. Easy check in and out.

The house was just as pictured in the photos. Plenty of room and clean. Our dog loved being on the dock and on the deck of the house. The only drawback was that there was no easy way into the lake from the shore.

Spent the week with family and had a great time. Just as advertised and Art was an excellent host. Would absolutely visit again!! Thanks for everything!!

Great place!

We were looking for an October waterfront rental, to fish on the dock, and be able to have good accommodations for our little dog! It was great. My son caught a variety of fish on the dock, Our dog enjoyed being on the enclosed deck and we enjoyed relaxing on the deck looking at the water. It was a great few days. The house had everything we needed and the owner was great to work with.

The property was perfect for our friend group to relax and enjoy the lake views with our kids. Beds were comfortable, and living room and deck areas were large enough for a big group to spread out. We hope to stay here again on any future trips to Lake of the Ozarks!

Everything was immaculate. Any questions were replied to promptly. The beds were so comfortable no one wanted to get up.

Our stay was great. The views were wonderful. We brought our MISSION REEF inflatable water mats down they were a perfect addition to the dock. Definitely recommend! The kids loved it. Great fishing spot. We caught catfish, sunfish, and large mouth bass. The dock and deck had speakers which were awesome. We didn't even need to use our bluetooth speakers we brought. It has been mentioned before about being on the channel and being choppy. A lot of that is due to the traffic from the no wake zone at Capt. Rons. The dock and slip worked great. We have a surf boat and were able to get out and get some calm water to surf. We surfed in the main channel and got some good rides in. There was a night that it did get super rough and the boat rocked around a little bit, but we had really good SENTRY fenders to help. There were definitely huge waves. Just make sure to bring a lot of rope and fenders. But the depth works good for an inboard. The launch was right down the road near the bridge and was super easy and convenient. It was called Rough Dock I think ($10 to launch). We were able to park our trailer on the property. We rented a jet ski from Pirates cove which is also super close. To get the house was easy and parking was easy. No super big hills and there was an area to turn around. Grocery nearby. By boat only a 15 min boat ride to Miller's Landing and maybe 20 mins to Margaritaville. We enjoyed a nice get away at Bulldog too which is super close! The inside of the house was good and there were tons of dishes and glasses. They even had a mixer which worked perfect to make my sons birthday cake. We cooked a lot there! We didn't use the deck as much. Partially due to heat and partially due to spiders and spider webs. The table could have been cleaned off a bit more and the container for noodles definitely needs a good cleaning. My father in law doesn't sit still too long so he cleaned off some of the outside of the house, fixed the handle on the fridge, and fixed some nails on the dock. He likes projects. Beds and rooms were great and cozy. I am allergic to dogs and have one, so I was able to bring mine. But I'm glad I brought allergy meds. One of the couches may have had a lot of dog hair on it. Maybe give a quick vacuum and good to go. It was a pretty quiet area minus some of the waves and jetskiers from the rental place nearby. Again, great views, cozy house. Amenities! Art was great to work with and was available by phone and text.

There were 8 of us staying here. It was a wonderful view of the lake on the large deck. Both families had dogs & walking them over in the open lot to potty was quite nice. The large dock was enjoyed for fishing & feeding ducks & geese that visited daily. The beds were very comfortable as well. Property owner was very nice & always answered if we had questions. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future.

The house has amazing view of the lake. We had so much fun swimming in the lake without having to go anywhere but the back door! We had so much fun! Communication with Art, very friendly, was easy and prompt. Definitely a vacation to remember!

When you hear people talk about, location is everything. This home is in the perfect location. The view from the large deck is amazing. We loved all the windows facing the lake. The house was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, tied up a lily pad and was able to enjoy many days of sunshine.

There were 6 of us staying at the house and it was perfect. My 2 daughters stayed in the loft bedroom and loved it. The open kitchen/family room was great for our family to be able to socialize at all times. There is plenty of seating allowing us to spread out. We spent a lot of time on the huge deck and the gate at the top of the stairs was awesome becasue it allowed our dog to hang with us without worrying about her running off. Great location too, just a quarter mile from Pirates Point where we rented a boat and waverunner. Also has a gas station and supermarket down the road. Art was great to work with, was quick to respond to questions and checked in with us when we arrived to make sure all was well.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this lake house! Home was very comfortable and just as described. Great option for family with dogs. It is on the main channel so it can get a bit choppy during busy lake hours, but my kids had a great time riding the waves. Fantastic fishing spot as well and super close to woods supermarket. Will totally stay again.

The stay at the house was wonderful. It had everything that we needed, location is great.

Our first vacation in 2021 and it was all we hoped for and more. The house was so comfortable and met all of our needs. We loved the gated-deck as our dogs could be with us, with no worry. The dock area was perfect for fishing. Art was very attentive to our needs and responded immediately to every question or concern. We will definitely return.

Art met us when we arrived to answer any questions and we really enjoyed our weekend at this cozy home on the lake! The views were beautiful from the big windows inside the home and from the spacious deck. The house was nice and clean and had everything we needed. Excellent weekend getaway!

Will summarize the Pros and Cons --Pros -1. Right on the sunrise beach, this is away from bagnell dam about 40mins and hence 2.5 hrs from kansas city. Roads are good.2. Perfect for 6 adults and 2 kids. More than that will be a crunch, owing to small bathrooms and only 1 common bathroom. There is no bath upstairs.3. The lake and marina/dock has a stairs where you can go upstairs and enjoy the view.4. Perfect dog friendly property with a door on patio.5. Kitchen is loaded with all utensils and condiments. Fridge has a icemaker (it does make an alarm noise when open which you have to switch off)6. Grill works great, two patios overlooking the lake7. Gas station and woods supermatket are right outside open till 10pm which is a big peace of mind as we had to rush to get few things for kids.8. Art is very responsive and accomodated our request for late checkout.9. Sunset view is fantastic Cons -1. Patio cleanliness was an issue and we had to wipe off dust everywhere , even on the grill. There were cans from previous guests on the patio and few other things which we cleaned up.2. Laundry door inside the house and few drawers were wobbly and we had to keep them aside for them fear of falling on kids.3. Welcome email is too lengthy with all the instructions around lock keys and trash. We were charged additional 50$ for not clearing the trash in bins, although we followed the instructions as written.4. Car parking space is conjusted5. Music system is old and we were confused how to operate. Will suggest bringing your own Bluetooth speaker.6. Magazines and Info about Ozark is all from 2019. Suggest to replace them by 2021 edition.
