The view from my room's balcony was absolutely amazing, it must be one of the best in town. The location is excellent, many restaurants and some main hiking/walking trails nearby. There is ~1 bus per hour from Brixlegg Bahnhof that stops right in front of the hotel, so it's pretty easy to access even without a car. The room was clean and quiet at night, and the host was very friendly. My flight was cancelled (yay post-covid travel nightmares) so I arrived one day later than planned, and despite the fact that the booking was non-refundable by that point they did not charge me for the first night that I missed, so thank you very much for the kindness! If I have a chance to come back to Alpbach I would choose this accommodation again.

I had some trouble initially to navigate to the guest house on Google maps, it's not directly on a street but you have to go up some stairs to access it, depending which direction you come from it may be obvious where to go or not. Not a big deal though, you can just ask one of the locals. The room got pretty stuffy (hello summer heat wave in Europe) so it would have been good to have A/C.

Karen is very friendly and welcoming, and provides a fresh and varied breakfast. The room was spacious with very comfortable beds and gorgeous mountain views. A short drive to the ski lifts where parking is easy.

Clean and very big room, chalet style. Comfy beds with a very nice view over the valley and mountain. The host was very nice and helpful. Location is perfect to reach to the ski lift, and the ski area is very nice. We will definitely come again, enjoyed our stay.
