Clean, comfortable and had more facilities than I originally thought would be there. When staying for a couple of nights, they have pretty much everything you would need. I can definitely recommend the newer section of Country Comfort Armidale.

The road for parking was a little narrow. The rooms don't have great sound proofing. During the night, I would frequently hear other doors slamming. While the shower was great, the water would splash out and pool on the tiles outside the shower recess near the toilet.

Bed was not very comfortable with the fittings for the electric blanket aligning with a previous broken rib. There was insufficient surfaces, particularly the bed side tables were too small.

Good location, walk to pub for dinner, walk to shops in town, beautiful park across the street from motel. The room was spotless and had a kitchenette, bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean and spacious. We have stayed at the Country Comfort a few times and will stay there again when we are heading to Queensland. Staff were really nice as well.

The updated rooms are gorgeous! We’ve stayed here a few times and whilst the original rooms were very comfortable and clean, the renovations are great! The staff (the kind gentleman at reception) is very friendly and always happy to help.

Room was nicely renovated, and had great access to power points throughout the room.

1) The bathroom sink was not draining, you couldn't even brush your teeth without it blocking up full of water. 2) The bathroom needs to have a toilet brush, which was lacking in our room. 3) The gap under the front door was at least 2cm which was letting alot of cold air in and bugs. Install a door flap extender to the outside of the door, so when the door closes the flap comes down and seals against the tiled doorway.

As genius members of booking.com we booked 2 months plus ago. We were put upstairs & closest to the road. We feel that the motel did not look after us with the appropriate room.

Disappointed to find that the room was not at all like the photos provided on booking.com. The room had a very distinct old smell, which was accompanied by the fixed furniture and outdated bathroom. All of which I wouldn’t have minded as much if I hadn’t been expecting an updated room which is why I chose to book this hotel online over others in town.
