Lovely accommodation close to the National park. Very tasty buffet style evening meal. short drive to sesriem canyon. great accompanied drive to climb Big Daddy dune with breakfast under the shade of the amazing acacia trees.

pool was very chlorinated and didn’t have much shade and had insufficient loungers.

A well cared for lodge close to the park entrance. We enjoyed the peaceful location over looking the water hole and the terrace for our delicious meals. our guide to the dunes was very informative with local knowledge and wild life. a big thank to all the staff.

Overwhelming septic stench. We came from another venue at similar rates. Totally different experience. They had polished check-in, 6star cuisine, high-quality accommodation.

Lovely oasis in the midst of the desert. Water features and well tended gardens around the cabins and communal spaces gave a lovely feel to the place. Restaurant staff were friendly and food buffet reasonable.

Bedrooms with no blackout curtains let light in from early hours of the morning and aircon units very noisy (in the two cabins we stayed). The swimming pool was small and water was murky (not well maintained). Reception staff were professional but not very friendly, reflecting the style of the manager who never made eye contact with guests nor showed any interest in their wellbeing.

The breakfast and dinner at the hotel were were very nice, nice decorated tables , attentive staff! The rooms and the bathrooms were very spacious and pleasant. The location was great and the surroundings were amazing.

Wifi was quite bad.

Really close to the Sossusvlei gate for that early race to the dunes! The Chalets were very beautiful, spacious and each has their own terrace for that all important sunset sky. Very clean, large fridge in room. Pool was refreshing! Internet only available in main building not in chalets but connection etc was very good. Dinner and Breakfast was awesome, good selection of dishes and food. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout! Highly recommended

Excellent lodge with nice rooms, great facilities, and friendly staff. The lodge is located very close to the entrance to the park. Overall this is an ideal place to stay.

The food was absolutely incredible. Having gemsbok walk through the lodge was a special priveledge. The gorgeous views from our room.

What a lovely lodge! I loved our chalet and it was so cool to see the Oryx walking right outside our door (a little scary, but very cool). The rooms were large and spacious, and really beautiful actually. The dinner buffets were SO good, the chefs that made the fish for us...well done! We enjoy the braaied meet to, the game I think could have been made better but that is personal preference. The accompanying side dishes were good too. Loved the alfresco dining. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We booked the Sossusvlei and Dead Valley tour through the Lodge, I wish we had more time to have done a few more. Guides were knowledgeable and I would highly recommend it.

The Aircon was a bit noisy, but as we noticed throughout our trip, all aircons in that brand were. Please stock up on mosquito repellent - that would be a big help, it was a trainsmash though; the petrol station a few hundred meters away had some. There was slight confusion on how many trips we booked so I think they may just want to look into that.

We were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff. The location is just perfect to view the dunes and the accommodation outstanding. The food was absolutely fantastic. Big time 10 out of 10.

We'd love to have stayed longer. ❤️

The rescue from the 2 flat tires shows that these folks go the extra miles (kilometers) for their guests. Definitely recommend them highly. The lodge is excellent and the food outstanding.
