Location and views to the beach

Location of units close to wedding venue. Easy walk to restaurant. Clean well maintained units. Close to beach and seafood shop. It was a perfect setup for the wedding with lovely garden setting. Very reasonable charge for rooms

The bed wasnt as comfortable as I like. It was difficult to block out the light for sleeping in

LOCATION OCEAN VIEW EXCELLENT.ROOM HAD ALL THE USUAL THINGS SUPPLIED.

The view from the full width windows was amazing. Kitchen facilities were ample. Room size was good.

The bathroom had a nasty smell which didn't disappear even with leaving the window open all the time - there was no extractor fan. The curtains on the living area windows did not fully cover them and so did not provide complete light blockout. I booked a ground floor apartment, but on checking in was given a second floor apartment. We were too tired by that stage to insist on a room switch, especially when we were told it was only 10-12 steps. It was actually 3 flights of stairs. There were only three free powerpoint in the entire apartment outside the bathroom, and only two were accessible - on the kitchen counter. None at all near bed. Even though we always travel with powerboards, I had to ask for an extension lead so I could use my CPAP machine by trailing the lead across the room from the kitchen counter to the bed :( We also had to charge our electronic devices on the small kitchen counter, next to the sink. Clearly they don't wants guests with sleep apnoea, laptops, or iPhones to stay! Only one side of the bed has a table or a light switch - if both of us needed a CPAP machine we'd be out of luck, and only one of us could sit in bed and drink tea in the morning. The decor was flat and dull and the shower recess had mould around the bottom. The entire place felt a bit out of date, clearly relying on its amazing location rather than a welcoming feel The in-house restaurant was wildly expensive, so we refused to eat there. The nearby marina had one with much more reasonable prices.

There was no beach view from the room as stated before booking. No curtain across glass sliding doors for privacy, had to have block out curtains drawn as people passing by can look into unit. Bathroom needs to be upgraded, cracks in the wall. No security window in bathroom, only glass sliding window. No pool view as mentioned at booking. Not enough blankets for two people. Queen size bed was in living area and singles were in a bedroom with no aircon. There was dust build up on light fixtures and tv. Pool was green and murky. Room rates were higher than in the in room compendium.
