We had a Frangipani Room the first night- we loved the outdoor bathroom! The room was clean and comfortable. The resort is absolutely fabulous- hammocks between coconut palms on the beach 🏝️ great drinks and very reasonably priced meals. Such an awesome vibe (travellers from other resorts nearby hang here for the day ) Project Collective on-site with great coffee and snacks as well as clothing and souvenirs. Highly recommend a stay here if you need to chill. Easily accessible from the local bus from Nadi Airport
Not a dislike more an unaware that the Frangipani Rooms don’t have a fridge.

Nettes, aufmerksames Personal.
Lecker Essen. Dank an Rosa und Team. Outdoor Badezimmer.
Kleiner Pool, wenig Strand. Unbequeme Liegestühle

Location of resort is on the beach as well as the open community areas with a bar and hammocks - Quality menu prepared by kitchen staff for breakfast/ lunch/ dinner. Clean pool. Large private outdoor ensuite in the 6 bed share room. Spacious. Activities office organise experiences onsite.
Insignificant but: Girls’ toilet flush sometimes broken. Occasional variation with the services offered throughout stay. No snacks/ kitchen for self serve. Local bus is once hourly.

The location is just amazing, with an incredible private beach in front of the resort. There are buses to and from Suva and Nadi, so it's easy to access. The food is good. The resort was clean. The beds in the dorm could be more comfortable, however the price is very affordable, so you can't ask for more.
The worst part is that is allowed to smoke in the resort, in many of the common areas. That shouldn't be allowed. Even some areas sometimes smell like tobacco. It is very uncomfortable for the ones who don't smoke.

Absolutely loved the beachhouse. Beautiful staff, clean, gorgeous location, activities in on offer. Can do very little or go on activities. Great for families or couples.
No dislikes but would suggest either a small fridge in rooms or have a camp kitchen with a fridge.

Really felt like we were in the middle only nowhere, which is exactly what we wanted. excellent resort, basic rooms, but everything you need to totally relax. Lovely pool, and at hightide the ocean (totally protected by the reef) is also good for a warm swim. Lots of seating, food was great too! Make sure you get the fish curry on Sunday (absolutely divine). Happy hour good value. Plenty of activities, we did the Jungle Trek with Pele, take some cash to support the local families (lunch/snack). There is a local collective close by where you can pick up some local made goods to bring home.
Not tea/coffee in the room, or fridge - would have been a nice to have.

Location was great. Quiet and secluded. Lots of different nooks to sit, lie and relax.
Would have liked a kettle and tea bags in the room.

Great location, right on the beach. Activities like free yoga available and many more. Free kayaks.
There was no surfing for beginner as someone was on annual leave.

Meals were okay.
We liked the beautiful natural surroundings, the smallness and homily atmosphere of the resort.

We really liked the common outside areas of the resort and the beach and the activities on offer, particularly the snorkeling day trip to Yanuca Island. Most of the staff were really helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We really appreciated the extra blankets, as we've had a couple of coolish nights.
The outside bathroom area smelled periodically of sewage, and the tap water had a distinct brownish tint, not a good combination. We were in one of the 2 larger buildings, where all the rooms ( called frangipani or hibiscus) are located that aren't freestanding bures. We were in frangipani 3.
It would be good if all guests were routinely informed about where to access drinking water.

It's easy to meet new people
Lovely coffeeshop with beautiful souvenirs
Vegetarian food greasy and bland
6 bed dorm very humid, bed with marks, blankets are disgusting because they were super smelly (all of them)
bathroom rundown

the hotel had a very nice but small pool. tons of hammock’s everywhere, and nice places to lounge and relax
the food was not that good and the beds were not that comfortable. it was a long bus ride from the airport so it wasn’t the best for the first place to stay after we flew into Fiji.

Loved the location, the room and the people. I’m a solo girl kitesurfer ; I struggled to find info about where to practice in Fiji so just bet on Windy mal and this place appeared to be a great spot. Launched from the beach, nice flat in the lagoon or waves on the reef.
Love that the little village just next door can benefit from the tourism by providing services (massages, waterfall walk….) don’t miss the waterfall excursion just next door with Vera
You feel the place is managed by someone having a good heart (like Fiji people !)
Loved the fact that there are affordable accom (dorm) in such nice location to make a memorable trip affordable for also people traveling with less money
Thanks for the stay ! 🙏🏼
If I d be picky, breaky could be eventually improved :)

Bruce, the owner of the surf school did not inform us about the dangerous reef in front of beachouse, even though we explicitly asked for things to consider/dangers when surfing. As a consequence, I broke my ankle on the reef. Thank you Bruce!

Good location and good amenities (need a bit of care as they are a bit old though. Hammocks on the beach, swimming pool when is low tide. Ping pong table, pool table…
Dorm and amenities need a bit of refresh. Food is good but not cheap.

Perfect place to stay! Calm, green and direct at the beach. Staff so friendly and helpful! Room clean, nice outdoor shower, the community area is spacious, cozy and you can stay the whole day just watching the sea. A lot activities are offered everyday. Very good value for money!

I loved the warm atmosphere, the staff was lovely, the location is great with the surf spot in front of the resort, free kayaks, meditation sessions, massages were great, we had a fantastic time! the Dinner food was very good too.
The breakfast and lunch menu could be a bit more varied with more fruits and veggies.

Awesome vibes. The staff are all amazing and friendly. Stayed in the dorms and got the one with the ensuite bathroom which was awesome. Resort vibes but with a backpacker younger crowd. Breakie is simple but nice. I went for a surf out the front, not an amazing break but they sometimes do boats out to other breaks. I went out with Eroni to do spearfishing and it was amazing. The reefs were stunning.
Loved my stay here.

good vibes, great hostel space and easy going happy staff.
breakfast is limited but totally works, lunch and evening food is also very limited choices but still works ok, not the cheapest but ok prices.

The Beachhouse is a amazing place also for backpackers. A amazing area on a beautiful beach with hammocks which create a wonderful atmosphere. You have a included breakfast and good opportunities for amazing tours. The staff is so so friendly and always in a good mood.
A little café around the Resort is a nice
- The bathrooms should be cleaner
- not enough plugs in the dorm
- the breakfast could be more varied
- the next town is far away

The Beachouse is such a gem that I'm almost hesitant to share more about it :). Stunning grounds, eclectic guests, AMAZING staff...you just can't find people and places like this very often. So grateful to spend 5 nights here with my daughter for her birthday. We're already planning on coming back with the family and that's saying something since it takes 2 days to get to Fiji!
Nothing. Loved everything about The Beachouse and our stay.

This is a super fun place. lots to do!
there was an old pervy guy doing a guided meditation in the morning. He was videoing th e female participants when they were lying on yoga mats in bathing suits with their eyes closed without their permission. Hopefully he wasn’t staff.

Location, staff, resort, vibe, facilities 💕
Parents not watching their children, as the resort is so laid back, they thought it was ok to let their children play catch in the common seating areas, walk over tables and sit on the breakfast counter!

Nice gardens and surrounds. Outdoor shower was beautiful and plenty of hot water. Great coffee shop onsite! The surf out the front pumps and staff take you out for free! They know their breaks and are very honest about where’s working.
Food was good, limited menu for lunch. Same meats cooked different ways and same salads at nightly buffet that’s overpriced but hey, this is Fiji!

Incredible views. Beautiful staff and humans. A great range of activities. Can’t stress this enough. I even extended my stay so I could experience NYE at the Beachouse. A stunning night!

We chose Beachouse Resort based on the proximity to surfing breaks and affordability and we were really glad we did. Not advertised on the website or elsewhere (that I could find) but they do have staff who can help out with surf board rental, boat trips to breaks and lessons which was a huge plus. For those who don't surf, there's a heap of activities on everyday including waterfall walks, village visits, fishing and other land based sports. Highlight of our stay here was the people, both staff and other guests who were super down to earth, friendly and fun. There was a great hostel type vibe but also balanced with spaces to chill out and be alone. The room itself was spacious and had a beautiful outdoor bathroom. Food wise, the meals here were probably the most consistent of our hotels in Fiji with good variety and portion size.
I would have liked to have soap included and hooks or a towel rail to hang things in the bathroom. Not an issue for us as we have pets at home, but a little warning to others who are less comfortable or allergic that there are a 3 or 4 friendly dogs on the property. Distance to the airport is quite far so budget a bit of time to get there (about 2hrs) also.
