Beds, very comfortable, clean; downstairs rooms nice and dark when blinds drawn; please put block-out blinds in upstairs room. Room configuration good, easy access to trash. Bathrooms lovely and clean. Rooms generally quiet and good cupboard space in downstairs cupboards; extra blankets good, air con great. Maybe do a 'tidy up ' of the blankets etc to make it look more presentable. TV and Foxtel great; possibly include a sun lounge on the deck?

BBQ very dirty; dishwashing rubber coming off, had to check because otherwise floor would flood; coffee machine dirty. I really recommend a BBQ cleaning 'kit' be provided as it is hard for travellers to have the things needed to clean it after use. Outside 'party' lights weren't working (room 1122), so just had 1 really bright fluro light out there; this room needs a kitchen utensil and crockery clean out; the stove top wouldn't work if you used a copper based pan; yet there are copper based pans in the cupboard which you therefore can't use. Outside laundry floor dirty, must be difficult to keep clean though out there; worked well though.

Location is great, staff are super helpful and friendly, facilities are well maintained, room was way better than I excepted it was so beautiful

I didn't like the pillows, that was the only thing, other guests didn't mind them

The apartment was clean.

The fact that the apartment was right next to massive roadworks that was being done the two nights we were there and so none of us actually got any sleep. The worst part is that we were not told it was happening which the place would have known and were not offered a discount or even a choice of another room. It was pretty poor on swells behalf

- small tv - didn't realise it was 'self service' and needed to supply own toilet paper... - very (sporatically) noisey toilet & fridge - no fan in the bathroom - weird step up into bathroom - stubbed toe many times...

Our whole stay was exceptional. We wanted privacy and we absolutely got it.

The location was wonderful, right across from the beach and a short stroll from shops, cafes and restaurants.

The property was tired and not that clean. Our apartment smelled of damp and had obviously not been cleaned or opened up for some time.

Room 1122 was huge! Great apartment for our family- we loved our stay at The Swell. The facilities were great warm heated pool and spa, great small gym and tennis court.

Excellent terrace- especially with 2 toddlers. Very well equipped and comfy beds. Couldn’t have asked for more. 6 of us in a 3bed superior- very spacious and 2 1/2 bathrooms. 5mins to beautiful beach

Resort itself was beautiful

No privacy. Had someone on our balcony without any prior notice shut our balcony door and proceeded to wash down the balcony (we were on the fourth floor so this was unexpected. I was coming out of the shower with no clothes on to find a man at the window!. My laptop was water damaged. When I approached staff about this I was told to take it up with the contractor that they had cleaning there balconies. Extremely unsatisfactory response.

Perfect location! Easy access by foot and by car. Large open living area.

Very hard uncomfortable beds. Kitchen facilities poor and/or not working. The bathroom drains had a horrible smell consistently. Facilities lacking, e.g lamps not working, cleaning equipment missing. Broken glass window which was just repaired with brown tape. Unfinished railings to the balcony with tape across.

The staff was very rude on arrival we even got told we can get a refund if we don't want to stay here in a very rude manner . And the security bond has not been refunded and it is now 6 days from when we stayed very very bad experience I will be sharing my experience with others and will not stay at the swell ever again

only 1 key for unit made it difficult to do anything seperate as needed key to get anywhere in building or lift. asked staff for a second key but never received one before we left. The lounge and cushions had a musty smell like it had been wet.

Great location to James Street, shops and beach.

Issues with lifts during stay. Also requested maintenance on lamp and not completed.

Perfect for family, plenty of room in the apartment for 6 people. Well situated for access to main part of Burleigh Heads.

Little disparity between apartment advertisement on Booking.com and what Swell Resort allocated. Originally allocated apartment was not as advertised when booked. Fabulous lady who worked at Swell Resort switched us to what was expected.

Great location, clean and well maintained facilities, apartment was a good size, free parking, helpful staff.

Wasn’t made aware until day of arrival that pool towels weren’t included and had to be hired at $5 per towel per day. They kindly lent us some due to the late notice.

Appartement was spacious and well located with good view on the pool and partial view of the beach from the balcony.

Cleaner apartment and facilities and cleaner common areas such as lifts and common corridors floors. Also the hotel didn’t get back to me when I sent an email to inform of all issues in the appartement. No one had contacted us during our stay.
