Perfect for what I needed - a comfortable unit for a stay near family. Well appointed kitchen and a lovely cozy lounge space allowed me to make my own meals and have time-out on my own. The outlook from the front of my room was stunning, all lush trees, and I was delighted with the walk up to the back of the property and up on to the top of Hallorans Hill. I'll definitely be back next visit! The ability to collect and return keys through their automated system was very convenient.

It is well built and appointed.

When I looked at the pics, I presumed we would be staying upstairs with wide verandahs great views and light filled rooms. But as it turned out we were in a tiny bit built under with only a few windows, too high to see out of and claustrophobically small rooms. To be fair, it was well fit out and appointed, but decidedly not what I thought I had booked. Very disappointed.

Great location and nice and clean.

Very little communication as to what was in offer. A breakfast was advertised but we saw nothing of this. The washing machines were the dearest we have seen on our travels. Weird noise coming from pipes in bathroom early hours of the morning and continuing every 15 min, so no sleep in past 6am. Offers wifi but you have to purchase this and very expensive.

Tiny TV in bedroom. Not really a B&B. More like renting a room in a shared house.

Quiet location amongst gardens. Wide verandah with overlooking views of gardens and a limited view of town. Limited local traffic along street.

No air conditioning. Room very hot when we arrived as it had been closed up. Unsure about whether can be considered a “bed and breakfast”, as no breakfast for us in the morning. Property did not meet expectation for a B &B for the price we paid for the night.

The property was very clean and well presented on arrival. A little problem with the door lock but otherwise a great room, spacious accomodation. Would recommend and also stay again.

I arrived on a bus and had to wait for a taxi to collect and pickup as it was a long walk from the Main Street and I had no vehicle. Unfortunately it was raining when I arrived which didn’t help matters.

There was no AC in the bedroom, the Wifi available costs $12 a day (ridiculous) and the lounge, kitchen and balcony are all shared by multiple rooms. Nothing is private. We were also given the code for our keys late and expected to check out by 0930. Also breakfast is very basic. Bread, butter and jam.

Breakfast was was fantastic. Rooms were good as we had our own toilet and shower which made it private. Magnificent views. We loved it.

Room with bunk bed dangerous as the top bunk was too close to the ceiling fan. The pillows were hard and not comfortable. Maybe a bit more outdoor lighting.

Location and house was clean

When hiring the house I expected privacy and not to have others sharing the property. Website does not state clearly that facilities are shared.

We met some interesting other guests. The room was large and bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was well provisioned.

We arrived to the BnB with no-one on site. The email system didn’t work so we didn’t have the passcode to retrieve our room key, though John was able to assist once we phoned him. The floors throughout were timber so we had to remove our shoes. The bedroom was hot and stuffy, west-facing with no air-con so we tried opening windows, which was virtually impossible! The windows also had no fly screens and lots of cobwebs around them and the blinds. The building feels unlived in and in need of a really good clean. The electric jug badly leaked water and should be replaced. The road noise from the balcony was very loud.
