Great location in a lovely town

When we booked in the person didn't ask us to pay city tax- I got a phone call after I'd left which was annoying and unduly stressful. I'd expect the person checking us in to do his job properly since I am unfamiliar with city tax

location just out of the centre but still within close proximity of the Main Street. Charming hotel. Beautiful rooms, comfy bed.

The stairs are small and steep which makes it hard to take a suitcase upstairs, especially if your room is on the second floor.

Great service, and great advantage of having the connection with Stadscafé the Tapperij. Good tapas and great beers.

work was being done to the property outside -had partly chosen property as it showed nice outside area to sit. person who checked us in didn’t explain or apologise. a small thing but a bit disappointing.

A gorgeous little hotel in a picturesque town full of character. The staff were really accommodating. The room was appropriately sized and appointed for the price. Fabulous freshly cooked breakfast.

I feel like the room could do with a headboard or a feature on the wall the bed is against. Bedside tables could be larger (quite small to fit drink/lamp/phone etc. The stairs are fairly steep and I do not believe there is a lift.

great location in the old town. very friendly. lovely accommodation and food

the location is very good, it was very cozy and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. the bathroom was spotless the decor of the place is attractive. THE BED IS SUPER GOOD!!

I did not like that the reception is not open. (you must call to be opened). You must take care of the entrance by padlocking the main door of the hotel when you leave and enter "they assign that responsibility to you". the bathroom is outside the room even if you don't share it. the heating made a sound like running water and it was 75% "cold" so it didn't heat up much.

cozy and typical of the region

nice comfortable bed, tea/coffee in the room, room temperature could be contrôles in the room. being able to get something to eat at the hotel in the evening.

very steep stairs to the room, being an old building it could be a little noisy hearing people walking around above you and or dropping things. hearing the bottles being dumped into the bottle container when we were trying to go to sleep.

Location was perfect. Right in the middle of the historic town of Elburg. It was off the beaten path and just 50 minutes from Giethoorn. It was idyllic and super romantic. The breakfast was pretty typical European and delicious. The restaurant attached to the B&B was outstanding. The tapas for dinner were fun and probably the best food we had in Holland. The rooms were decorated in a very luxurious style and modern. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I highly recommend.

lovley cosy property. we did find our room very small. the windows opened nice and wide so we could stay cool. there was a fan in the room. decor really nice
