Perfectly situated in front of Banje beach and Ploce gate, with 2 supermarkets within easy access and Sveti Yacob beach within a walkable 20min- the location is perfect! Some steps to get to the property but not that many. The balcony is the best part, with town and sea views. Away from the crowds in the Old Town, quiet at night but easy to reach all the restaurants etc. We stayed in apt Elena, it had a huge bedroom and small, but functional, kitchen and a bathroom. We had dinner at the balcony and walked to town to get ice cream at Giani’s every night. Signora Elena greeted us with refreshments and even had a cute goodbye present for us. They left delicious tomatoes from their garden for us every morning. A perfect stay! We’ll come back!

Stayed middle of July. Hosts and daughter were very welcoming and settled us in with a cold fruit juice on a very hot day. I had called two days earlier and they accomodated an early check-in as our flight in was in the morning and we would be there earlier than the original early afteroon check-in time. The washing machine was a bonus!! I bought my own detergent and was very grateful to have this amenity as we had been travelling for 2 weeks already and after doing hand washing was glad to have it. Worked well for beach wear too. We had the room with the balcony and hung our clothes to dry on the clothes line in front. Banje beach is literally steps away as is Ploce gate; the south side entry to old town Dubrovnik. Two grocery stores, a bakery and the local and airport shuttle bus stops and taxi are literally steps away. Impressed by location. Had amenities that we needed including air conditioning for those hot summer days!

Excellent location, close to Old town and close to beach.

I wish kitchen was equipped with few essentials like some coffee and tea, maybe some spices. It’s inconvenient to get everything first day as you arrive from plane.

What a little gem of a property. The location is just perfect - 5 mins walk to the Old City, less to the beach and with wonderful views of the city walls. The actual apartment we were in (Mia) was very suitable for us - a large (cool) bedroom, small but perfectly acceptable kitchen, and a bathroom with a very efficient shower. Outside, we had a choice of two terraces to sit out on, which gave us a choice of being in the sun or shade most of the time. Also, a washing machine is available, although we did not need to use that. Elena greeted us with a very welcome drink of cordial when we arrived, was available if we wanted or needed anything during our stay (we were there for a week), and gave us a small gift to remember our stay there. Just lovely in all ways. I would definintely recommend staying here.

If you are not very mobile, and have difficulty with stairs or steps, don't do to Dubrovnik. Not a criticism of the property at all, but there are steps everywhere! Similarly, be aware of mosquitos! Being close to a number of bars and nightlife, there is some music to be heard in the evenings, but shutting the highly effective double-glazed windows shut it out completely and was not an issue for us at all.

The location was excellent. The host was very friendly and helpful . The apartment is located within a few minutes walk from the old town . There is a supermarket 20 meters away and an ATM . The entrance to the apartment is located off the main road , 50 steps uphill from the road is the gate to the garden , you then step into a lovely courtyard containing olive trees and flowers . Above the apartment is a terrace , the views from the terrace are breathtaking! You have a fantastic view of the harbour and the old town . Sit with a glass of wine watching the boats come and go , you will never want to move .

The kitchen was limited in facilities. There is a 2 ring electric cooker , and limited workspace . However there is a good sized fridge and a washing machine which was a bonus .

Welcoming hosts, quirky 'shabby chic' apartment. Use of two sunterraces. Host facilitated late check out with no fuss. The location is fantastic.....beach across the road and old town 200m. If you don't mind dated decor and steps this is the place to stay in Dubrovnik.

Lot of steps from Street to Apartment. Small bath towels but this is likely to discourage beach use which is understandable
