Very friendly staff. They were helpful in helping us navigate the difficult journey from the train station to the hotel. Breakfast was pretty good and the outdoor areas were lovely for sitting and eating breakfast or enjoying cocktails in the evening.

No space for ANYTHING. We could not unpack our suitcases during our stay. Shower was too small to even bend over in. Breakfast nook on the patio had a shutter latch positioned just perfectly so that when you sat down, you banged your head on it. Stairs to the top floor where our unit was were SCARY steep and narrow, making carrying luggage nearly impossible. No desk for doing any work, but the internet was so bad there wasn't a lot of point in trying.

Hosts were very helpful and kind. Location is up the hill and much quieter than more touristy area by the harbor. Loved the breakfast with croissants and coffee and snacks in the fridge. Balcony overlooking the harbor had a spectacular view. Loved the eco-friendly policies. The area is one of the most beautiful in the world—incredible hiking! Trattoria dal Billy’s that is just a few steps away has delicious food.

I loved the location of this place. The view of the ocean was spectacular! Great breakfast. Crossiants were delicious.

Rooms are very small but my guess is all the rooms in Cinque Terre are small with many narrow steps to get to your room. If you have problems with mobility and balance would not recommend this hotel. Bathroom was extremely tiny with only one small shelve above sink. No where to put toiletries. Shower was also very small with no shelve for shampoo or soap.

View is exceptional. Breakfast is good, caffe, croissants, fruit, etc. A bit of a hike up the hill with luggage but worth it.

Great directions to the accommodation and easy to understand self check-in instructions. Our room had balcony with views of Manarola, the sea and the steep terraces. Wonderful location, great accommodation and good breakfast on the main terrace. Would thoroughly recommend a stay at Da Baranin.

We loved the large private rooftop balcony, looking out at the wine terraces and the ocean. I believe we had the only unit that includes this balcony feature. We bought supplies in the Coop store in town and enjoyed all our dinners on this balcony, after hiking and visiting the towns during the day. Breakfast and staff were all very pleasant.

Believe them when they tell you it is a long steep climb to the location from the train station. We're hikers and we could do it, but this is not for everyone.

Friendly check in process, and the apartment was clean and comfortable . good views. just great!

The room was large, airy and very clean, nice balcony overlooking the hills. Excellent shower and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was served on a terrace. The town was beautiful. The whole place (room and main building) was very tastefully decorated.

There was limited availability of staff/reception.

Very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast was fresh and they even had a basket to take to your room if wanted! The view from our room was breathtaking and the air conditioner worked wonderfully.

We stayed in the triple room.The room was great. The bed really comfy. The kitchenette upstairs has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Bathroom/toilet is on the small side but enough room to maneuver. Location is good to access restuarants, shops etc but you need to travel uphill to the hotel every time. Good exercise though. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, healthy and adequate. You have paid service for porter to carry your bags to your room.

Nothing we didn't like but some people may not like the hilly climb to the rooms but Manarola is hilly everywhere.

Everything exceeded expectations! Breakfast was delicious and pleasant. Location is great. Air conditioning was strong. Sara at the front desk was super helpful and friendly, even offering direction before we arrived. Sara did message a person to contact for luggage pickup, if needed, which was very considerate. We chose to drag our luggage ourselves, and the climb up was NOT BAD at all for two young adults in good condition... you go up a short paved street and only about 45 steps. We did it ourselves with two big suitcases during an extreme heat wave and it was manageable for us and easier than we anticipated given some previous reviews we read.

The complimentary breakfast each morning was delicious. There were coffees, pastries, yoghurt & Musli, bread and cheese arranged in a crate for us to enjoy in our room or on the terrace. Our room was also amazing, we had a small fridge and a terrace which we were not expecting. Would definitely recommend, 10/10.

Super friendly staff, beautiful rooms and a really nice breakfast at a nice little patio. A bit away from the masses of tourists, but a minutes walk from a stunning view of city and ocean. And easy to get to and from when arriving in a car. It was the perfect spot for a few days in Manarola.
