This is a very nice hotel. Very basic, but for its price excellently suited. Breakfast is good, and I had a nice dinner there as well. The hotel is on the outskirts of Bagneux, with easy access to the motorway, which makes it ideal for those passing through. Getting to Saumur city centre is also very easy, just turn right off the hotel's street and it is a straight shot to Saumur and the river. As a tourist, you should have all the possibilities.

The only downside I've found is the wifi. In the bar and restaurant, the coverage was spotty at best. In the room itself coverage was fine but the portal was not online, and I had to disable and re-enable the wifi before I got a good connection.

Our stop coincided with a large coach party but the staff without request arranged for a table away from the main restaurant area because of the level of noise.

Great location for a stopover stay. located close to both the ring road and the motorway network and also 5 minute drive to the middle of Saumur Town . nice comfy rooms - very clean and everything works! . Plenty of parking right outside your door.

We were fortunate to be given two of the recently refurbished rooms , which were superb. We had an excellent meal on each of the three nights we stayed

Typical Campanile. Met expectations apart from wifi. Room was cleaned every one of the three days we stayed.

The promised wifi reception did not materialise in our room (21).

Good location, nice room end very cleaned. Silence during the night and useful parking outside the hotel. Easy check in.

Staff did not speak English, not even a simple word and it was not easy to communicate with them.

Room was fine and the food, when it arrived was well cooked and to my taste.

Desperately needs a major refurb.

Shower screen flooded floor and door had quite a gap in the bottom like unrepaired damage.
