Everything was great, even made friends with the cat.

We loved the breakfast, which was beautiful!

Full sized bed, large bathroom, warm and comfortable with friendly staff. Even the other guests were lovely. And the breakfast was huge and delicious with perfectly poached eggs and home bottled fruits. Only hope we can come down this way again.

Our GPS lied to us twice!

What a lovely long weekend stay at this beautiful homestead. Such a warm, friendly welcome from the owners Blythe and Ann. Accommodation was beautiful with so many interesting pieces to discover and the topical books to peruse. Wonderfully welcoming fire and homemade biscuits available with on call hot drinks. Breakfast was a feast of freshness and abundance. Hosts were keen for guests to enjoy the fresh fruit and to ‘pack some for the trip’. Lovely grounds to wander around. Nothing was a bother and both of the hosts keen to share the history of the area with guests. I would encourage people to stay for more than one night to fully enjoy the peace and the surroundings available. Thank you both for your hospitality and the opportunity to just relax and enjoy the views and the atmosphere of a very special part of Otago.

We really liked that it was just far enough out of town, and of course, the location is beautiful. Thank you so much for your hospitality. we enjoyed our stay here!

A beautiful house with wonderful hosts. We usually go for airbnb apartments but this "real" B&B was a nice change as we got to meet other travelers from around the world. Breakfast was really good! We did a day trip to Wanaka for biking and was glad we chose this instead of a featureless apartment in Wanaka!

Somehow I missed that the bathroom was not en-suite in the description, and it was located across the public hallway by the main door so it was a bit inconvenient. Do book the Mountain/Garden view rooms if you prefer en-suite bathrooms, those rooms looked lovely too.
