Schöne Unterkunft. Wenn man im Erdgeschoß durch die Tür kommt (nach Voranmeldung),steht manin einem Wohnzimmeränhnlichen Raum. Der anschlißende Flur führt in die Wohnetagen oder ins Speisezimmer. Dort ist ein Fach im Kühlschrank für jedes Zimmer reserviert. Die Treppe führt ins 1. und 2. Geschoß. Im 1. Geschoß ist ein wohnzimmerähnlicher Das Zimmer besteht ua einem geräumigen Flur mit Kleiderschrank, von dem es zum badezimmer mit kleiner Dusche und Toilette geht. Das Schlafzimmer schließ mit geräumigen Doppelbett und Fenster zur "beruhigten" Straße - leider wissen das die Anwohner nicht. Sehr freundliche Besitzer und das Frühstick mit getoastetem Weißbrot, Olivenöl und Selbstgemachter Tomatenpaste ist einfach herrlich. Frisch gepresster Orangensaft und ehr gutem Kaffee hilft einem in den Tag zu kommen. Die zentrale Lage zum Balkon des Rioja und wichtigen Bodegas machte aber vieles wett.

Ich emphele nicht des Nachts mit offenem Fenster zu schlafen. Kann laut werden. Ab 7:00 beginnt auch das Leben in der Strasse, dann ist man garantiert wach. Auch hier hatte ich Probleme mit dem steifen Kopfkissen.

I had a very nice one night stay in the Casa Rural. Very comfy, big room with bathroom. Beautiful walks among the vineyards, peace and quiet and a glass of wine made for a very relaxing stay. Amaia was very attentive from the beginning, she waited for me and greeted me in the lounge and was at all time making sure I have everything I need, explained the sights and even offered a rain jacket for the not so sunny weather. Breakfast was big and tasty. I could leave my backpack after checking out and stroll a bit more around the amazing landscape. I would definitely come back again!

amazingly well appointed. spotless clean rooms. all completely self sufficient and functional. the hosts are passionate and well informed about everything relating to the area, and current events, and their recommendations for places to visit, or eat, are spot on

Amaia is great. She stayed in contact and made several reservations for us a local wineries. You are staying in her family home. I would call this a bed/breakfast type setup. Amaia lives nearby and made us breakfast in the morning. She gave us recommendations for nearby attractions.

You are staying in a fairly remote village. Its a cluster of apartment style homes. Amenities are found a short drive away. Just be aware. This wasn’t an issue for us.

Charming, renovated mill accommodation. Personable, friendly hosts. Very pleasant quiet old town. Bar/cafe a couple of doors away (nice terrace with view at the back)
