It is the uniqe history place and the hotel, not bad lounge areas. Private parking and stunning views from the room. Unforgetable delicious and rich dinners

Everything concerning the furniture are much under expectations. On the floor and in the room you feel like in a super budget hospital, there are no cosiness at all. The onle great motivation to leave the room as soon as possible. Unfortunately I spent 4 nights in the hotel and it has been my worst experience for years. Really old rooms with lots of not comfortable things, starting with internal doors, which are not close due to mulfunction; cold air from outside because of holes in the balcony door; a difficulty to set a comfort temperature in the room because of the cheap radiator types; super budget renovations of the bathroom is not useful and it is not because of an olderness stilization; bathroom faucet with two valves so it is difficult to set a right temperature of the water and which doesn't help in water economy; great lack of the light (one lamp ~6W in the room) - you may hurt your eyes while read something with this light; frosted glass door in the room and to the bathroom from the corridor, so anybody could see what happening in your room/bathroom; holes in the floor; the absence of teapot and any other sources of hot water. Overall feeling are really awful, so I would not recommend this hotel until the overhual is being made.

Rooms are quite old, blankets are small, you can hear neighbours very much.

The view is stunning! Breakfast delicious. Very comfortable bed, pillow and blankets. Received a small present after our stay! That was very cute!

Situated really well right next to the lake. Dinner was delicious and for breakfast we had a good variety. Nothing to complain.

This historic property is set in the most beautiful location with a stunning panoramic view of Lago di Braies. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in every way and the hotel had an extremely relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is an oasis for travellers!

There are no faults to this property. our experience was exceptional.

Amazing location directly by the lake - A hotel full of character. Fabulous view from the bedroom. Excellent evening meals, friendly staff.

I would consider installing some small lanterns on each buttress of the terrace wall so that there is some illumination in the evenings. This would not only be very attractive but it would make a short evening stroll outside so much more pleasant.

We loved it. Did not really know what to expect - besides the lake view. Exceptional property, with the style of old times, right on the (very beautiful) lake. Super staff, excellent food and buffet ... a couple of days "out of time" for us. Get breakfast, go hike all day, sauna, a drink on the terrace, and dinner. Now we would love to see it in the winter, but it's been fully booked for Xmas by the same patrons for many years.

Ok if we have to say something negative, wifi is not great. But it's a great way to disconnect too :-)

the view from the room on the lake of course, it made up for any shortcoming. Magical.

hotel caters to mass tourism, staff seems tired and grumpy, room is aged and only has basic comfort
