Bed and mattress were basic. Room was very hot.

The owners are lovely, the location is great - on the edge of the town centre, next to the river and much quieter than the main drag. Copious breakfast served with a smile.

Pillows are a bit lumpy and my room had a window in the bathroom area so was a little dark.

Very friendly hosts. Very clean, quiet room. The extras were a lovely and unexpected surprise - a kettle with tea and coffee and toiletries! The bed was comfy and the shower efficient. The room temperature was ideal, the radiator was very efficient. The value for money was extraordinary. We parked for free just in front of the hotel and walked around the town centre. Great location

Location, friendly host and good value

Small but ideally located hotel. Excellent value for money. The owner allowed us to park our motorcycles in his garage which was a real bonus. So very friendly and helpful.

Mattress was to soft.

The owners were lovely. It's a family hotel and you can really feel that, they made us feel very welcome. The room was good and clean. Breakfast was great, lovely coffee and chocolate and a really big meal for 7 euros.

There is no secure car park, but there is paid for parking immediately outside. At first I was concerned but we didn't have any problems and the parking was a reasonable price and it was a city hotel so parking is rare.

Just a one night stay in Villeneuve with an early start the next morning so we did not experience breakfast. Hotel was clean and comfortable, reception was friendly and the adjacent restaurant served magnificent duck.

We didn't think too much of Villeneuve. There were some nice historic buildings but we wouldn't plan to stop here again. If we did, we would use the Hotel des Remparts.
