Nothing went well it a compelte disaster. The three staff i spoke to were worse than each other.Looked like the Housekeeping lady who attended to issues with our washroom was running the show and was the root cause of the problem.

The toilet was not flushing, the lady who attended to, stated that we have to wait for flush at least 8-10 minutes everytime, too strange. She later refused that she did not say that. It was extremley hot, i went to pick water. My wife started doing her hair as we were due to attend wedding in next couple of hours, being main reason of our travel from London. When i was out my wife asked for fan, she was been told that we dont have fan to give and its not even sure if we can give you one tomorrow. I came back my both children were crying because of heat. I went back to the reception and explained, the receptionist response was not one that any customer would like, we cannot promise we can give you fan. I said i need to complain, as it appears no one owns this place, she took the literal meaning, responded, this place has owner as trying to humiliate me. I complained on the complained portal they provided, i was shocked to see the person who attended the toilet issue, responded to my complain in few minutes, how could she even respond to complain when she was the root cause of all the inconvenience. I doubt their complaint process. In addition i kept calling them ro allow us enter few hours before check in time as we are going for wedding. They allow us 40-45 minutes before the time, never mentioned over the phone that we will charge you for that, but charged us GBP 10 for few minutes. I decided to leave, my cards were been taken to process my refund. Despite offering any apology i was been told that when i come out with luggages we will process refund. I went back changed my clothes, my wife had to leave her hair half way, changed chidren and asked the new receiptonist to process the refund. The receptionist point blank refused that he was nit been handed over anything about an issue or refund. I queationed their cimmunication between staff, that how come you dont know.

The hotel appears to be used to house the homeless, which is great for those who need this, but there were a lot of ppl walking around in their pyjamas that appeared to live there, which was not expected. All in all ok stay but probably would not return

How close it was to where we needed to go

As soon as we got there we noticed some suspicious people on the outside of the hotel but we ignored it because they didn’t do anything. Once we got to the room we started checking if everything was okay and noticed the bloody mark on the shower wall and on the toilet paper roll which is awfully disgusting, plus under the bottom sheet (the mattress protector) was completely disgusting all dirty with stains and hairs all over it. On the first night we noticed a weird guy standing on the same floor as us but as couple rooms down the corridor. And on the second night when I went down to reception to pick up my food order and a guest of the hotel the I ended up getting on the lift with acted extremely creepy, asking all sorts of weird questions and even inviting me to joining him in his room. Long story short, it was a first and last time kind of booking.
