Possibility to use the facilities before check in and very nice view from the room onto the lake. The dosa at breakfast was fantastic - highly recommended.

Greater support and help on choosing and booking activities/restaurants in the city would have been welcome. The pool water was rather dirty.

The F&B staff was excellent. Chef Hemant made sure that my dietary restrictions were attended to and he made special meals. The serving staff Ramesh made sure that the table was always clean with much talk. Overall great F&B team.

Terrible checkin experience with condescending attitude almost humiliating. At each juncture I was questioned if I am staying at the property. Certainly uncalled for. If it's so important give tags or wrist bands!!

Location was great it’s central and right in front of Lake Pichhola and within the City Palace gate. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

I got a room in a vague corner of the hotel with no lake view and no phone connectivity apart from the hotel Wi-Fi. For a solo traveler that did not make me feel safe. I wasn’t aware preference had to be specified for the lake view so maybe my mistake as I had traveled to unwind but the room allotted didn’t really help me relax. I was told it was one of the larger rooms on the property but the space really didn’t fit with my purpose.

Fabulous location and grand rooms with beautiful views . Great decor inside, part of the palace complex and well secured . Service at the one and only restaurant was good , staff took great initiative to provide us with requirements for the baby and were helpful. Management is receptive and acknowledges problems and resolves them, the same attitude should percolate to the staff

Breakfast buffet was outstanding and the terrace room was beautiful. Staff very attentiv e. Room was very comfortable with great view of lake and water Palace. Bathroom and shower were very nice.

Room door lock was simple and could be improved. There was a safe for valuables in the room.

Breakfast at Sunset terrace was v good.

Bathrooms could use more toiletries.

The location was the highlight, the sunset view, the cherry on the top. The room was with a bay window which opened to a beautiful view of the lake. This place can serve as a delightful stay for anyone who is looking for a relaxed holiday with a luxurious tint to your vacation. We loved every bit of our stay here!!!!

The staff were beyond amazing - Pooja, Santosh and the restaurant staff. The location was beyond expectations and the rooms were fabulous. The highlight of the hotel is the restaurant- amazing amazing food. Best meals in Udaipur.

They have maintained the heritage palace and added modern comforts. The staff is super courteous and always ready to go the extra mile. We also got a room upgrade to a suite with a balcony and were allowed to check out late as per our request. Highly recommended!

The palace is beautiful is grand and very artistic.We were granted the room with the swing in it, where you can get beautiful pictures.Taj also made sure to send us flowers,balloons and a cake as we were celebrating our anniversary. The food is the best part, we were on full board and we had the complete menu at our disposal. Loved the food. Overall it was a royal experience.

Santosh and Dhiraj were extremely helpful and guided us to a point where we felt we are at home. So, a big Thank You to them.

Temperatures in the room was dropping as we visited in peak winters and when asked for a heater, we got a coil heater I believe which didnt really help us from getting the room warm to the point that we wanted.

Location alone deserves a 10 star and to top that it is a pet friendly accommodation. Staff at the Sunset restaurant were courteous. Property was well maintained.

Travel desk was pathetic - took no responsibility for their misguidance and lack of planning. Big disappointment!
