Amazing place right in the jungle and right on the beach. Didn’t take a dip because crocs and stingers but still spectacular to soak up the remoteness. And we saw a cassowary with her chick in the forest! So much wildlife just around our cabin. Went in rainy season and we were drenched day and night but best to just embrace it and get in the outdoor pool for a rainforest dip. Stop at all the walks along the road to get out in the jungle. All so incredible. We had to miss our first night stay as flooding had broken the ferry but the owners were super kind and refunded us for that night. They fixed the ferry and we made it over the next day.

Unique setting. Well kept despite the challenges of doing so in the wet tropics. Pool and bar restaurant right on the beach. Dinner was very good.

The location is simply the best. Peaceful environment, very good food at the restaurant, pool, and direct Access to the beach which os beautiful. A secluded place to enjoy.

The location was excellent. The beach house was lovely, equipped adequately, towels were lovely and soft. The bedding was nice and clean. The restaurant staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The selection of drinks were good.

We knew there wouldn't be any WiFi although we didn't realise we would not have any signal at all. It was great to get away from the phones, however, it would be beneficial to have the option for people who do have to make calls perhaps in an emergency or if they have to work whilst away.

Everything! The setting is beautiful, right in the middle of the rainforest and next to Cape Trib beach - very relaxing and green, so lovely to fall asleep listening to the sounds of the rainforest! Our accomodation was clean and well equipped. The on site restaurant/bar was really good. The staff were really helpful in sorting an out of hours check in for us.

Beautiful tropical location, outdoor restaurant, beach is spectacular even if you can't swim because os crocs and stingers. The Daintree region is a must when visiting Queensland. The room was spacious with several beds and the hotel supplied a crib for my granddaughter.

No dishes, cutlery or cooking facilities. No picnic area or play area for the kids other than at the restaurant. The pool was adequate, but considering there's no swimming in the ocean and it's really hot, the pool could definitely be larger and offer a view! It felt more like an upgraded backpackers and not a "tropical resort"

Super location in the rain forest,with access to the beach. Great place to chill out and explore the area. There is a restaurant on site and the menu only had two vegetarian options but after speaking to the chef he made other things for us.
