The coffee - but then again - it’s a hostel not a cafe!

Hostel is located in a Lubecks old town but away of main tourist routes. It was clean and the personel was very helpful. The place to it was very neat and breakfasts were quite good. Sinks in rooms are very practical solution :)

One toilet and shower on floor (one for every sex) seems to be little limitating. The dining room was also small and in the breakfast time we always had to wait for a free table, because it was so crowded.

We like the fact that the hostel was extremely central and we were able to walk there from the station. we were able to walk easily to all the main attractions including the: Willy Brandt Museum, The hands of Museum, to Mary’s Church, the Holstein gate, The fantastic 16 century architecture; the hospital, my son particularly liked the moonin exhibition, Gunta Grass. The only area which might have been better would’ve been Wi-Fi coverage.

We were charged extra 3.50 euros for not having a youth hostel card. This information was not mentioned in the priceof the booking itself and I found afterwards it only at the bottom of the hostel page. The room was dusty and dirty. Sound isolation is absent and one cannot sleep if there're kids running around the floor at 7 am.

Exactly what I expected from a hostel. Liked the big size of the lockers, the cleanliness of the sanitary and the, for a hostel, good-sized breakfast. Also, the location is really good, close to both the city center and the train station.

Couldn't close the window because one of the handles was missing. Solved it by putting stool against the window. Still, since I did not notify the staff of this, no legit complaint, just a note. Also, I like it when hostel beds have curtains around them to block of the "sleeping space" from the rest of the room, but I knew this hostel didn't have them.
