We were very happy with the room as well as the service , we had dinner and a lunch both were very good

The hotel has fabulous location with sweeping views of the Indian Ocean. The villa is decorated tastefully with eclectic art which adds to its charm. The pool was a good size and we spent a lot of time in it while listening to the ocean waves. The staff was very sweet and always smiling. They serve the meals on the outside area and we had some fab meals overlooking the ocean.
There was a rat in our room but the staff swiftly came to search for it. Other than that it was all great!

I stayed at their sister hotel in nuwara eliya, liked it so much that I decided to book this one at mirissa
Great little private hotel, unfortunately you can’t swim at the beach.
I was there during low season and had the entire place to myself

The way the pool was placed at the outer part of our room and the way it was kept. The cleanliness was 100%. The staffs were also very very great and friendly. We were all girls and were afraid to walk out in the night to get a tuk, the Villa staff Dumindu, he walked us out and even stopped a tuk for us. And in the morning, there was a another staff who personally walked us because there was many dogs around. The staffs and the entire villa, was 200%. The security was also super tight, and they were doing their rounds in the midnight. We slept quite late and I saw the uncle walking around at least four times while we were awake.
There was nothing to dislike. Everything was top notch.

An absolutely outstanding villa. The staff were attentive and the food was exceptional. The facilities were everything that you could desire for a relaxing get away with friends. Location was excellent. Tuk tuks were easy to access following a short stroll down the path.
The grounds and the pool were exceptionally well maintained. Absolutely exceptional value for money.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Atulya! Calm and relaxing with a fantastic view, the villa was fabulous and the staff so friendly. The food (especially the Sri Lankan) was good. It was our first stop in Sri Lanka and it was everything we wanted, perfect place to rewind!
A 15 minute walk to Mirissa alongside the busy road, but on the other hand it made the location more private and quiet.

I loved everything about our 5 night stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and the garden with pool so pieceful. Not many rooms at all so you had much space as the hotel is not crowded even if fully booked.
They served your breakfast of choiche on everyones own outdoor area outside the room at the given time you preffered. That made the breakfast very private and relaxed.

Amazing place. The place is much more amazing than what we see in the pictures. A must stay if anyone's visiting Mirissa. The food cooked by the in-house staff was good too.

Impeccably designed and furnished boutique hotel that feels like we were living in our own villa. Spacious and beautifully appointed hotel room, massive deck off the room with lounge chairs, dining table, etc., and huge living room. The villa overlooks the Indian Ocean, and has a lovely pool and lawn. Breakfast and other meals were very good. Service was outstanding and facilities are well maintained.
The villa is on a coral-fringed beach. While beautiful, it makes swimming dangerous to impossible.

the busyness of the main Mirissa area. Lovely pool and small beach to watch the waves, we even saw turtles!

The property is beautiful inside and out. The gardens are quiet, and large with two pools.
Breakfasts are delicious
Staff are very helpful.
Enjoyed walking along the narrow beach as far as it would go. Sunbathing is easiest from the garden as you can’t swim in the sea there.
Loved the sound of the waves from the ocean in the rooms.
Easy access to other swimming beaches in the area.

Breakfast was great, there were so many options to choose from and they came through with each and everything we needed. The pool was great, we didn't know the place had 2 pools separate from each other, so it felt like we had our own villla. 10/10 would recommend this place. Everyone was very happy with the place.

Perfect exterior, Pool, garden. we liked the room and it was cozy and spacious. it was right next to the pool and access was very easy. enjoyed the lengthy pool
Food was not that great and it was not worth the pay. they need to focus little more on cleanliness specially how the tea bags are kept at room (tea bags were kept open) and kettles were not that clean.
Swimming Pool must be cleaned without a doubt.

- location is great: not far from Mirissa beach ( only 5 mins by Tuk Tuk or bike) and away from loud road and party/ restaurant music and noises
- the staff is so nice and helpful
- loads of open space to relax and have breakfast outside your room e.g. garden, common room
- only 5 rooms in the property thus it not overcrowded
- free laundry service
- nice Sri Lankan or continental breakfast
- awesome sunset view from the room

- you need to ask them to clean the room. however, you can ask the same day and they will clean it for you.

The view is great and the location very peaceful. Tuk Tuk available short walk away. Care takers organise good authentic local meals. Good feel of local culture
Due to internet issues card payment while checking out took some time. If one wants to carry cash, may be better option for this location

This was a gem of a place with superb artwork, antique furniture and tasteful decor. The view from the balcony was amazing of the sea and gardens. I loved having meals outside on the balcony. Lunch, dinner and the breakfast (included) were excellent with fresh tasty seafood and fish. I enjoyed having Sri Lankan breakfast not always available at hotels. The staff went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Our driver was well looked after and catered for.
Leaving after just one day but we had booked to go to Kataramagama! We would have liked to have stayed longer.
