Location is ideal! So close to town. Breakfast items were also good, good to have the essentials.

No window to open for ventilation in the toilet/bathroom which is right next to the kitchen.

Great location, could walk to town or Waikanae boardwalk. Really comfortable bed and everything we needed. Lots of extras available to buy if needed.

It was well appointed. Easy to find things with labels on items and clear instructions given.

Thankyou Neerja. Quiet, cozy room with spare room, kitchenette and bathroom. Had everything we needed even a car hire, for outings. Saturday market and museums within 5mins walk with a bridge walkway to town also.

Internet lagged a bit, would recommend a booster to prevent this from happening again, otherwise nice big smart TV.

Good location. House looked good. All basic facilities included, including kitchenette. Rooms were neat and clean. Good value for money for a small family. Reduced overall rating due to breakfast is not available as advertised. We appreciate that the room was ready for check in at 1pm on our request.

1. Property price is advertised as including breakfast. However only 1 ltr milk, half a loaf of bread, few fruits and muesli and cornflakes provided for period of stay (irrespective of number of days). All mentioned as complimentary. We stayed for four night (counted as one stay) and so had to do grocery for breakfast, though room price included breakfast. Only refills were for tea, coffee and tissue paper. Misleading advertisement on breakfast. 2. We stayed for four night, but didn’t meet host. My daughter felt that this is not welcoming and unlike other properties we stayed in NZ. However, messages were quickly responded and host was always available on phone. That was good 😊. 3. Small sink in kitchen. No mirror in either of bedroom (recommended).

Lovely to be here again and to enjoy Neerja's hospitality. Very comfortable, warm bed and room in the midst of one of the coldest weeks I have encountered in Gisborne. Well equipped and lots of extra details which are appreciated, and also some good, commonsense things eg, a first aid kit. Spotless. Nights were quiet and restful. House is so close to the walkways and the main shopping area. I would most definitely stay again, and probably will. Thank you, Neerja and all the best.

Lovely touches like snacks and drinks available on an honesty system; lots of extra bedding and linen if needed, and selection of games and books. Place was spotless and tastefully decorated and the facilities were extremely good. Would definitely stay again if returning to the area.

Very minor thing, but perhaps a towel rail and more shelving in the bathroom, although this wasn't a big issue.

The sofa - very low to get out of.

It is very close to town, river, museum and harbour area. All walking distance. To beach is a 20 min walk or you can take a bike. We rode all the way along the beach which was lovely. House is cosy and very clean! Has got all the things you need for a small family for a few days visiting Gisborne.

It was nice and close to town and family friendly

Had to put a few books and magazines up so my little one didn't ruin them but this was not a problem.
