The apartment was really clean and location very good

The staff was very friendly, amazing view, great value for money. Very close to the beach, within 5 min distance.

A lot of stairs, you need to be sporty

The view from the balcony was breathtaking. It was the best part of my stay. All Rethymno town at my feet. Very happy about the fact that there was parking provided by the property.

The beds were old and the mattress as well which was the reason for my back pain . Also just because they saw me alone (while I booked for 2 adults) one of the days someone decided to not bring linens and towels for 2 . I had to call them to bring me which was a little inconvenient. appliances were old and there was a lot of noise coming from the stairs .

The kitchenette and the location itself were a bit lacking.

It was clean and the location is great. the staff was really nice

it was advertised as a double bed but it was actually two singles which we had to push together and it’s not the same as there is still a gap

Peaceful and clean hotel.

Our stay didn’t start well. Toilet and Wifi didn’t work. However after making a telephone call, everything was fixed fast and well :) You have to climb lots of stairs to get to the hotel.

The most epic part is the 😍VIEW😍 from our apartment! It was perfect waking up for the sea sound, having breakfast or dinner on the balcony, that's worth it! The room was clean on our arrival, bed is comfy. The location: Eliza is a bit more further away from Rethymno Town center, but we made it on foot a lot of times (30-40mins) or taxi (4-5euro) or by bus (it runs not that often though -1-2euro). It's also in a nice quiet area.Swimming pool is cool! The lady who runs the hotel is really nice, responded to my messages quickly, speaks English (not the receptionist? though). She was really helpful to let us know how we can get to the apartment on our first day or even call a taxi from the phone on the reception whenever we needed (didn't use much in the end). There are plenty beaches around, different types: sandy, rocky, bigger, smaller ones. One cafe, proper grocery shop is about 15mins walk, there are few restaurants nearby - 5-10mins walk. All in all, I definitely can recommend Eliza Apartments. 😊

If I want to bring up something it's the Internet connection. Unfortunately there were a lot of times when it wasn't stable so we couldn't use much Internet. And once the electricity was gone, it wasn't the best time as we were travelling for a day trip and couldn't charge our phone fully beforehand as it happened during the night when we couldn't see it. This is not the place faults though but I thought I could just share this unpleasant experience. Another thing I'd like to mention that the swimming pool could have been opened after 8pm too - just to have a calm down period after a beach day.
