Our family had a wonderful experience staying at the Crowne Plaza Beijing Lido, an IHG Hotel. The staff was accommodating and warm, especially Mrs. Wang Hai Li, who was very patient in answering all our queries and kindly upgraded our standard king room to a one-bedroom suite with a view of the bath for free. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. The location was very good and easily accessible to the metro and international airport. There are many good restaurants nearby. We would come back to this hotel again.

Nothing. We are expecting some return payment for this booking. Our customer from Egypt is also not happy with this hotel.
Crown plaza is international hotel but anyone from that hotel unable to communicate in English. Breakfast is not continental, and we are Indian, it is difficult for us to take meal in that hotel.

The swimming pool. The room had a nice balcony area useful for parents. Breakfast buffet pretty good
The clock music system in the room was broken. No time showing. Audio in didnt work and remote battery was flat. Additionally the blackout curtains couldnt be fully shut. Also due to some poor wiring the nightlight could not be fully turned off. The kids pool was also not so clean

Stayed here for my birthday as a staycation in Beijing. Great hotel, the staff speak English! Check in took about 30 minutes, as there wasn’t enough staff working! breakfast was delicious, western and Chinese buffet.
I paid for the ‘bath spa’ which cost a lot, however I was unsure what the ‘bath spa’ is, as it was just a normal bath tub!
The Ethernet cable didn’t work!

The location was very good positioned. the staff was warm, welcoming and open to help. The breakfast buffet was very diverse, I have travelled with my family, so everybody found something tasty.

The breakfast was great with a lot of choice. The room service was fast. Staff were very friendly and most spoke English. The room was very clean and comfortable.
There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

The room was exceptionally hot (always above 28º) and there was no way to use the air conditioning for reasons I am not aware of. I was told at checkout that the problem had been reported by other hotel guests. Situations like these in a 5-star hotel are unacceptable.
