Quaint cottage , needs updating . Great spot

Great location and a lovely traditional cottage. Looking for a start point for Cleveland Way walks... it was 20 yards away ! Staithes harbour less than 5 mins. Just right for a relaxing break. Went above and beyond to help !

Excellent location with a parking space (which is a blessing as no parking in and around Staithes Harbour). Cottage was lovely, like a step back in time and loved the window seat looking out onto the Spring flowers. Everything you need, even books and games for those rainy days! Plenty of space, ideal for small family of 4. Literally a five minute walk to the harbour. Highly recommend the Cod & Lobster for food, it was excellent although do try to book a table, very busy. The cream tea at Dottys was delightful. Such a beautiful place, with lovely people, very dog friendly! x

Double bed could benefit from a new mattress, was a little lumpy! The property has overnight storage heaters, so, for us, was very warm! Very steep hill down to harbour (but seemed much steeper coming back up haha), may not be suitable for some! Would of loved a little outdoor space. Would recommend reversing your vehicle into parking space as not really any turning point to get out! See many near misses as people don;t realise is a dead end road.

Location great, no problems with plenty to see and do, property was reasonably well equipped particularly if children were in the party.

Property was dusty and very dated, more a bedsit conversion than an actual cottage. A mish mash of styles, décor and furnishings brought to mind an 80's car boot sale. Property in desperate need of updating with particular regard to hot water provision and the installation of a shower. (People have been requesting a shower in the visitors book for years)

Storage heaters in every room kept the cottage nice and cozy. Parking is at a premium in this village so we were delighted to discover we had a dedicated parking place right next to the cottage.

Great location, on Cleveland Way for lovely walks, yet few minutes to harbour. Peaceful and picturesque area.

Hot water facilities could do with updating..rather temperamental.

It was all fabulous. Homely and welcoming. Perfect place for a getaway. Locals were friendly and helpful We will definitely be back here again
