Very friendly people, clean and cozy room with a touch of luxury. Very central location, at the heart of the medieval centre of Guimaraes. Totally recommended.

Everything was perfect.

A great room in a great location, literally steps from the center! The room was so thoughtfully set up. Every little thing, they’ve thought of! Hooks where you need them, bedside lights, powerbar next to the bed, shower caddy,, water, coffee machine, biscuits, everything you need. Personalized check-in. All in all, wonderful!

Room was a bit stuffy with the terrace doors closed, may be an issue in hot summer months, but not a huge deal!

Our room was clean and very comfortable, our hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the location was incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property!

A comfortable, spacious room in a homey guesthouse, well located just a few minutes from the popular Olive Square in the historical centre. Nice crisp linens, and a side table offering tea, coffee, and biscuits. The bathroom was tiny, but it served the purpose. Fatima was a welcoming and helpful host, giving us advice on sights to see, and recommended restaurants.

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the house was lovely in the most central location, and spotless clean. There were biscuits, tea and coffee waiting for us :)

Our hosts, Fatima and Bruno, could not have been more helpful even coming to find us when we first arrived and got a little lost. The apartment is right in the old centre which buzzes around you, just round the corner from the main square. But very quiet and peaceful at night. A well stocked little kitchen to cook and eat. A lovely spacious bedroom with additional comfy chairs. It was extremely hot whilst we were in Guimaraes but the room was cooled by a powerful and quiet fan. Do stay here - you won't be disappointed. Thank you both Fatima and Bruno.

Perfect location. Spacious room. Super clean. Amazing host - thank you Fatima. Our room and kitchen were fully equipped and there was not a thing that Fatima had not thought of to make our 6 day stay in stunning Guimaraes so memorable. We could not have wanted anything more.

I wouldn't say anything it is only a reminder for somebody who has a problem with sleeping. The accommodation is really in the city centre, you can feel the history and atmosphere of an old city. There are many small and excellent restaurants but it was pretty noisy during the weekend especially when the young generation celebrate something. It was OK for me but I can imagine it could be a problem for some of my friends.

I didn't realize there was a medieval festival the weekend I was staying. Town was very busy.

Loved the Apartment

The house is located in a pedestrian-only area,with limited parking outside the area. Our hosts came out on the street to guide us and help with luggage. The room was spacious, clean, safe, comfortable, and economical. The entire area is totally charming. We were very happy to be there.

The room was a bit chilly initially but warmed up well and was toasty after a bit.

Music playing every night until 12 midnight from bar below we think quite loud could sleep still but was annoying otherwise would have given full marks

I am a seasoned traveler and have never enjoyed a more gracious hostess than Fatima. She truly goes above and beyond the call of duty, raises the bar on the meaning of hospitality. What a gem of a place this!

I wanted to spend more time here but it was booked! I feel lucky to have been able to spend two nights st this lovely house.

Our host was great. Tea and coffee in our room with home made biscuits was very nice. The location was perfect.

Uncomfortable bed. Felt like a cheap mattress. The bathroom was so small I could not turn around without bumping into the shower. The room was much smaller than the advertised size.

You will not find a better place to stay in the old-town area at this price! A beautiful apartment with a full kitchen, luxurious towels, great bedding, and more. Fatima was easy to communicate with and she provided a number of resources for visiting the city. The apartment is located in the middle of everything - you won’t find a better place to stay!
