This property was perfect for our family summer vacation! Very spacious, clean, updated and great proximity to some of the towns, wineries and breweries! The lake was quiet and clean, great for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing etc. Walkens Glen is not far which offers some good hiking. The property was also flat which is tough to find along the lakes, and is helpful for older people in the party. Plenty of parking. I could not have asked for anything better! You will not be disappointed with your stay here!!

The whole family enjoyed themselves. Location was perfect. We swam and checked out the surrounding areas. Many many many things to see and do for all ages! This was the perfect family vacation!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautiful and it has plenty of space with 4 bedrooms and 2 living room areas! The kitchen is gorgeous with granite counters and stainless appliances.
Everything you could ever need to cook a meal was supplied. We all enjoyed the large indoor dining table and counter stools for nightly games and breakfast. Then let's talk about the outside areas. Firepit with 6 adirindack chairs, outside dining table and chairs seating 8, bistro table, 4 chaise lounges.... it is just lovely! And the addition of use of the dock for our pontoon boat made it the perfect rental for us. We can't wait to come back again next year!

I am always wary of the pictures that are posted on the website. I've had some disappointing experiences. But i have to say that the pictures for this property do not do it justice. This place is beautiful. Everything seems brand new. The beds and linens were so comfortable, the furniture was updated and the decor was fun and fashionable. The outside areas were incredible, we really enjoyed the large outdoor dining table for morning coffee and meals and the fire pit area was fun for smores with the grandchildren. Nothing was overlooked. We did have a minor issue at arrival, but it was taken care of immediately. And the rest of our stay was perfect. I have already looked at the calendar to see when I can stay again!

Adorable house with huge modern kitchen has all amenities. Smaller bedrooms but didnt affect anything. Peaceful setting right on lake. Good fishing spot. Close to wineries on Keuka Lake. Minor issue was immediately addressed. Would stay here again.

Sharon was very responsive and helpful. The house was exactly as pictured and nicely equipped. Great location for a girls weekend. The welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch that I haven’t experience in the 5+ times I’ve rented from VRBO. Would book again!

A perfect spot on a lake Waneta. The street is quiet with little to no traffics. Awesome lakefront access for fishing and swimming. 15-20 minutes from the Village of Watkins Glen and the racetrack. Everything was phenomenal!

My family and I just had a great week at this house. This was our second time staying here. The house is in great condition and very comfortable. It is in a quiet, friendly neighborhood and right on the lake. We had a great time in the water and fishing from the dock.

Lovely lake house!
This is a near-perfect place for a family vacation. Lots of space for indoor and outdoor living, great kitchen, beautiful waterfront for fishing, boating, and swimming. The queen beds in every bedroom were great, and there was a lot of storage space available throughout the house. Lots of quality lounging spaces, too. There were wonderful welcoming touches in the house, such as fresh flowers and wine, and Sharon was always available and helpful when I contacted her. I definitely want to stay there again!!

Had a great family weekend vacation at this house! The listing pictures don’t do the property justice until you see it in person! Beautiful house with great amenities. Great stay
The place was perfect for us 3 couples. Clean with all needed amenities. Perfect location for kayaking and hanging out on the shore. We sang by the campfire and cooked on the outdoor chimney grill. Great location to get to Watkins
Glenn, Seneca lake for sunset cruise, and tour the Keuka wineries. Hope to come back one day highly recommend this house.

Very nice location and friendly house manager/owner
The back yard is face the lake. we have a wonderfully time to watch the sun rise in the morning. You may also have chance the watch the star in the midnight. Wonderfully vacation experience for us.

Cozy and Modern Home
This is a beautiful property and newly renovated. The outside patio, upper deck, fire pit, and water access are EVERYTHING! We enjoyed utilizing the outside and enjoyed our visits with Kitty Cat the neighborhood cat. The two levels of the house created a nice divide for those who wanted to hang out downstairs and those who wanted to relax and rest upstairs in the bedrooms. Sharon was very accessible and helpful via phone/text. Just a note to pay attention to the details of the listing as towels are not provided. Super easy to bring your own, though. We loved our stay and I am very interested in bringing my family here for a long weekend!

This waterfront house is in excellent condition with a spacious kitchen, dining and living area that look out to a nice view of the lake. The 4 bedrooms are very comfortable. There is also a balcony on the upper level. Outside, the bulk head area has a lot of room for outdoor dining and relaxing in the sun. It's located in a quiet, friendly area. My family and I had a great week enjoying the water and fishing!

My family and I had an amazing time at the home On Waneta lake. The lake house was perfect in every way. The view of the lake was just spectacular and the waterfront can’t be beat! The kitchen is brand new and fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. There is plenty of seating and the decor is charming with attention to detail in every room. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay extemely enjoyable!

Peaceful location
We loved our stay at Waneta Lake. The view, the outdoor seating, and the well stocked kitchen made it such a pleasant place to hang out and cook with family. The location was a great jumping off point for the Watkins Glen hike, wineries, farm stands, and cute towns for meals out. The bedrooms were a little tight but the bedding was great. There were actually four bedrooms although the listing said three. Make note that towels aren’t provided. It was definitely our mistake for not reading closely but we recommend bringing towels. Everything else you could want is provided. Linda was super helpful and gave us lots of tips on the area and things to do. We would love to go back.
